It doesn't rip or tear like other TP does and it's extra soft and gentle. We use less TP and it lasts SO much longer than other brands. Charmin Ultra Strong is a staple in my house!

Other paper is very tough and also comes apart very easily. I will surely make this my go to brand from now on. I would definitely recommend this to all my friends and family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So how does one review toilet paper? Really...it's toilet paper. Here's the down and dirty (no pun intended...maybe) on Charmin Ultra Strong. Background: I am a stay-at-home dad with a wife and two kids (ages 4 and 5). As such, we are a single income home. AS SUCH, I am the primary shopper for the family and have cost firmly in mind when shopping for...well...anything. Lately, I had been buying store brand toilet paper for my family due to cost and the fact that my kids use way more than they need to. Likes of Charmin Ultra Strong: 1) It is strong enough for everyone in the family. 2) There is no appreciable odor to the toilet paper. 3) It doesn't clog my toilets (except on the rare occasion of SEVERE overuse by the kids.) 4) It is available in a "mega roll," supposedly the equivalent to 3 regular rolls, I believe. Again, I have a wife and 2 preschool kids in the house, so we don't want to be changing the roll each time nature calls. 5) I have heard no complaints of irritation to even the most sensitive of...areas. 6) At the end of the roll, the toilet paper comes off the cardboard roll absolutely cleanly. I love that. There is almost (ALMOST) nothing worse in the bathroom than trying to scrape the last bits of TP off a roll before throwing the cardboard in the recycling bin. (Surely, it can't be just me...can it?) 7) Coat is comparable to other name brands. More expensive than store brand, but worth the extra cash. Dislikes of Charmin Ultra Strong (why I removed one star from the rating): 1) The design of the roll is terrible. On a new mega roll, there are two "glue strips:" one at the tip of the paper, and one about 4 squares in. I imagine these are to keep everything nice and tidy in manufacture and in the package in the store. HOWEVER, more often than not, I, personally, have ripped the tar out of a new roll of Charmin Ultra Strong, just trying to get the glue to release. I'd much rather just have the tail end glued once. 2) Um, I guess that's it. There you go. Would I recommend it to someone? Well, if I was ever in the freakish position to talk to someone about toilet paper preference and reasons why I feel the way I do, then I absolutely would.

I agree with everything in their ads - strength, softness, quality... however I'm not convinced it is the right product for me. My issue is the softness of the product - It is almost too soft for me. Using the Charmin has proven to me that my personal preference is a "less thick" and less soft toilet paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Charmin ultra is really wonderful. I never thought a tissue paper could have that much strength and at the same time be gentle on the skin. Te combination of these two qualities in one roll makes this one a keeper. I'm a believer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Charmin UltraStrong toilet paper to try for free from BzzAgent. I received 4 rolls. I put one in the downstairs bathroom and others in the upstairs two bathrooms. I replaced the Scotts toilet paper roll with the Charmin to try. I liked the Charmin TP for it's strength. It takes few sheets compared to other ordinary toilet paper. The touch was also not bad. Compared to Scotts, it is much softer, but I liked Quilted Northern for softness. The kids also seem to like the Charmin and did not receive any complains or comments. Overall, it is a good toilet paper with a blend of strength and softness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received my 4 pack of Charmin Ultra I immediately opened it up and added a roll to the rotation. Once the old roll was empty I was able to give the Charmin a try. Upon inspection you can tell right away that it is thicker than regular two ply. In fact it is kind of like a thin paper towel. It really doesn't feel that soft to the touch either. When put to the test it is strong and quite absorbent. And like it says; you don't need to use as much. This would be an advantage except for the puny rolls they give you. So even if you use less you will be changing rolls just as often and paying more. I personally think it is a very good product. My wife, however, thinks it is too rough. It is not as noticeable to me but I can't justify paying more for this product. There are other products that get the job done for a lot less money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this TP (never thought I would be saying that!). It is really thick- you can really tell the difference between this line and the other ones out there. Even my 6 year old commented on the switch. In his words "no leaks!"
