[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're like me, you have memories of Charmin leaving bits and pieces (and flakes) of Toilet Paper all over the floor. Thay cause me to always go with the quilted styles (Northern and AngelSoft, mostly). But this isn't like the old Charmin. It is strong and holds together. I'd say, it is PERFECT and I am now on board. I WILL be buying Extra Strong Charmin going forward!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many different kinds of toilet paper over the years, but from now on I will be using Charmin Ultra Strong. My wife tends to buy the less expensive toilet tissue, much to my chagrin, so I made sure to place a roll in her bathroom for her to use. She preferred it over the other brands as well, and I think I have finally convinced her to switch to only buying Charmin. I think the texture is MUCH better than other brands, and while the roll may not last quite as long as the thinner brands, I think it more than makes up for that one shortcoming. Overall, I definitely think it is a good brand and good value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It certainly lives up to its name that it is strong, but there is just not enough TP on the roll for a family of four. Maybe if you live by yourself I suppose. It is just very annoying having to replace the roll so often. For that reason we will nto be buying this product in the store unfortunately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be honest, I'm addicted to Charmin Ultra Soft and threaten my wife if she brings me anything less. When I got Charmin Ultra Strong I was concerned but I have to say this stuff was awesome. I'm not sure if they changed it recently but I have to say that it was still absolutely soft enough but it past a test that no other toilet paper that I was willing to try has been able to which is the sweat inducing single fold test. I won't go into the gory details but I will tell you this, I folded once and went for it and it held strong the whole way. It honestly blew my mind because I do not go gently into that dark night. And unlike other toilet papers that are like sandpaper, this "gets the job done" without leaving you flinching the next time you sit down. I would totally recommend this stuff to save money, assuming you are brave enough for the single fold way of life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to think there was no big difference in toilet paper. Then I started buying the cheap stuff to save money. BIG MISTAKE. I was reminded of living in a college dorm with the huge rolls of toilet paper that didn't clean anything. That certainly isn't the case here. Charmin Ultra Strong certainly does the job. But the problem is most toilet paper nowadays does the job too. What's the difference? Well, as you can probably tell by the title, it's STRONG. So that's good if you want toilet paper to clean up spills or something. But that's why you have paper towels, right? They should be strong and soak up more. Is there really THAT much toilet paper needs to soak up? I certainly felt like I was wiping with paper towels. It's rough. Charmin does the commercials with the bears in them, I remember one where the cub goes to the bathroom and uses a leaf or bark and the parent gives him TP which of course he prefers. But to me, I'd rather have a leaf to wipe with because it feels like I'm wiping with bark. If you want TP that will soak up a lot and not break up, this is your product. IF you're looking for comfort and softness, keep looking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong is just what I like in a toilet paper. It's thick, sturdy, and soft too. Due to its strength, I can get away with just using two or three sheets instead of more. That's a money saver for me. My young son, who was recently toilet trained, does very well with this TP. My typical store-brand tissue is soft, but not as thick as this, and it tears and soaks through much more easily. I would definitely consider switching to this Charmin tissue from here on out.

The strength comes at the cost of a bit of the softness, but it's still soft to the touch. It's a fairly stiff sheet compared to regular toilet paper, yet it's still comfortable to use. It doesn't appear to have quite as many sheets as the cheaper toilet paper we're currently using, but I find I need less sheets to get the same job done, so it appears to get the same amount of usage out of a roll. The best thing about this TP is that you don't have to fear the dreaded poke through!

The product is solid, absorbent, and the best part about it is that it reduces the amount of paper that you have to go through. The paper itself is not abrasive, either, although I ultimately might prefer a bit of a softer product. For how sturdy this TP is, its lack of tearing, and the cleaning quality, though, I go through a lot less TP and I may convert to this product moving forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, I tried the Charmin, and it really is a super premium quality toilet paper. It is super strong, and really soft. My tush has been pampered big time, and I had confidence it would not tear while using it.Now if I can just teach the kids they only need a little, not half a roll for each bathroom trip. Great job Charmin!!
