No other toilet paper has quite given me the comfort of Charmin Ultra Strong. It's always there when I need it, even in the worst of times. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who knew how important a good toilet paper could make the body feel good. I was sick and used this Charmin Ultra Strong TP. It was better than regular tissue paper. It seemed like it would never finish and it was durable. Regular tissue like Kleenex irritate my nose because of all the pollen it produces and releases when wiping my nose. Recommend this toilet paper for other purposes other than the traditional use of wiping. It was good, durable and soft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So how does one review toilet paper? Really...it's toilet paper. Here's the down and dirty (no pun intended...maybe) on Charmin Ultra Strong. Background: I am a stay-at-home dad with a wife and two kids (ages 4 and 5). As such, we are a single income home. AS SUCH, I am the primary shopper for the family and have cost firmly in mind when shopping for...well...anything. Lately, I had been buying store brand toilet paper for my family due to cost and the fact that my kids use way more than they need to. Likes of Charmin Ultra Strong: 1) It is strong enough for everyone in the family. 2) There is no appreciable odor to the toilet paper. 3) It doesn't clog my toilets (except on the rare occasion of SEVERE overuse by the kids.) 4) It is available in a "mega roll," supposedly the equivalent to 3 regular rolls, I believe. Again, I have a wife and 2 preschool kids in the house, so we don't want to be changing the roll each time nature calls. 5) I have heard no complaints of irritation to even the most sensitive of...areas. 6) At the end of the roll, the toilet paper comes off the cardboard roll absolutely cleanly. I love that. There is almost (ALMOST) nothing worse in the bathroom than trying to scrape the last bits of TP off a roll before throwing the cardboard in the recycling bin. (Surely, it can't be just me...can it?) 7) Coat is comparable to other name brands. More expensive than store brand, but worth the extra cash. Dislikes of Charmin Ultra Strong (why I removed one star from the rating): 1) The design of the roll is terrible. On a new mega roll, there are two "glue strips:" one at the tip of the paper, and one about 4 squares in. I imagine these are to keep everything nice and tidy in manufacture and in the package in the store. HOWEVER, more often than not, I, personally, have ripped the tar out of a new roll of Charmin Ultra Strong, just trying to get the glue to release. I'd much rather just have the tail end glued once. 2) Um, I guess that's it. There you go. Would I recommend it to someone? Well, if I was ever in the freakish position to talk to someone about toilet paper preference and reasons why I feel the way I do, then I absolutely would.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There may be softer, but there isn't one that is stronger. It's nice to be able to use less than regular toilet paper per time. While this costs more up front, using less means that I get more uses per roll. It seems like overall, the cost comes out the same, and this doesn't tear!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so impressed and happy with the Charmin Ultra strong toilet paper. #gotitfree it's nice and thick and best of all the toilet paper does not contain the card board piece in it so its kind of better for the environment. The Charmin ultra strong is soft and is perfect for any kind of bathroom trouble you may get your self into.

We've been using Charmin Ultra Strong Mega Rolls for quite a few years. Over the past year or less, we've noticed that the rolls are narrower. That's not too bad, but the strength of the new tissue is very poor. I will be changing to another brand very soon!
