Great tire

I drive 70 miles a day for work alone, mostly highway and I must say these tires are far better than the bridgestones that came with my vehicle. No road noise, smooth ride, great grip on dry or wet pavement, and cut right through snow. This is the first time using Michelin tires and they have gained a loyal customer from now on in.

Very disappointed in these tires

They came with the Lexus and that was part of the overall buying decision as we've preferred this brand for decades. These were always a bit noisier than what we've been used to, but just after hitting 32,000 it felt like we were riding in a tank. The road noise is unbelievably loud and the handling has gone to pot. I expected to get 45-55k from these tires. Has Michelin quality dropped? Looks like we'll have to research other brands as our trust in Michelin quality and longevity has seveerly faded.

Real World Experience is Proof

First bought these tires for my primary car three years ago. I average about 24K miles a year and these tires ride smooth, handle the road very well, are quiet and have worn better than any other tire I have ever purchased. So impressed that I purchased a set for my son's car early this year. If any of you have a young driver in the house, you want their car to not just be mechanically sound, but also have safe tires. With the Primacy tires, I feel confident the tires add to the reliability of him driving his Civic. I'm planning on replacing my original set later this year with the exact same Michelin Primacy tires. Yes, they are not the lowest cost tires out there but you get what you pay for and I'm not about to short change something as important as the quality of my tires that helps make driving my family safer.

Very quiet ride!

I have a "classic" VW Turbo S New Beetle, 2002, and it needed new tires. I called the Michelin Man for recommendations on tires, and the rep advised me to get the Primacy tires for my VW. I can't tell you what a difference these great tires have made in the "quiet ride" and the ease of handling. I am very impressed, and pleased, and feel that I really got my money's worth with this purchase.

Michelin Primacy MXM4

Just replaced my original tires that came on my 2013 Dodge Charger R/T AWD. Got 55,240 miles before replacing because the wear bars were showing. Don't do many "burn outs" with AWD, but do enjoy hard acceleration from time to time. Very pleased with the wear and all all-around performance. Replaced them with a second set of Primacy MXM4. Feels like a new car again!

Premature wear on Tesla model 3

All four tires are down to 2/32 and 3/32 inch at 29K miles. The tires were OEM on our 2018 Tesla model 3. Extremely disappointed at the premature wear. All the more surprising given our satisfactory experience with Michelin tires on our other vehicles over the last decade. I like the ride and handling, but cannot recommend these tires since they are poor value for money.

webfoot, sorry to read that your tires are in need of replacement. The original tires on your Tesla do not have a mileage warranty. A member of our team will be in touch to discuss replacement tire options.

Saved me today.........

Brand new tires are at a “10” in regards to tire tread depth; my tires are currently at 6 to 5. Today, on a two lane highway, a pickup truck overturned, coming the opposite direction, right in front of me. Reflexes took over, I quickly turned the steering wheel to the right into the right shoulder that was full of water and mud. I quickly turned left back onto the road. My car stayed stable and under control. WOW!! Many thanks Michelin.

bumps and lumps

Bought and installed 4 in May. Now have a little over 1,000 miles on them. When first installed, I complained that the car rode much more harshly and bumpy and was something the old tires did not do. It's only happening since the Michelin tires were installed. Been back several times for re-balancing. This last time the dealer insists it is the road imperfections I'm feeling because of the hardness of tires sidewalls. Humm? Not with the old tires! Something is not right with at least one of the tires.

Excellent Tire

After considerable research, just purchased a replacement set of Primacy MXM4 tires for our 2013 Lincoln MKS. This is the same tire that came from the factory on the vehicle. Happy to report that the original tires were retired with 75,004 miles on them and I could have added another 10-15 thousand miles to them if need be. (Did not want to worry about crossing the WV turnpike in the middle of winter). The tires ran smooth, were quite and provided excellent traction. The majority of our miles are traveled on Interstate highways and I don’t pretend to be a NASCAR driver on the roadway. I always laugh at drivers taking the exit ramps at full speed. Makes me think of the rubber put down on racetracks. And then they complain about their lousy tire wear!!! Bottom line: this is a great tire and I would highly recommend it. You can find cheaper tires, but you get what you pay for and with proper care, they will be worth the investment.

Too hyped Too little return on investment

Awd. Hemi. Rotated on tire consistently but with 20k on them, they are at 4/32nds and now handle rain and snow like garbage! My review ratings are from when they were new. They are terrible now when the roads aren't dry. Had to bite the bullet and buy four new tires- losing my pro-rate money because I can't keep the car on the road in bad weather! I was driving on a slushy turnpike and at every corner while driving less than 50mph, I would consistently lose my steering and start to plow straight in turns! I was approaching a red light recently on a flat, snow covered road and while driving less than 30mph, with substantial stop distance I couldn't get the car stopped. I ended up 5' into cross traffic by the time I could get the car stopped. This was standard powdered snow. Honestly, the dry cornering since new is basically just satisfactory. I was never impressed when trying to push my car a little in dry turns. I will never buy them again unless I suddenly live in a dry climate. Pennsylvania isn't that.
