SURPRISING PERFORMANCE

I SPECIFIED MXV4 WHEN I CONTRACTED TO BUY TIRES BUT CAR WAS DELIVERED WITH MXM4. I RESEARCHED AND DECIDED DIFFERENCE WAS MINIMAL AND WOULD LIVE WITH MISTAKE. NOW,AFTER SOME MILES OVER FAMILIAR ROADS I AM IMPRESSED WITH THE IMPROVEMENT IN RIDE,HANDLING AND ECONOMY THESE TIRES OFFER,AND AM HAPPY WITH MY DECISION. i HAVE BEEN DRIVING ON MICHELIN,ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY, SINCE 1959 AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED.

Quiet and Durable

These were replacement tires for my Honda CRV. The first thing I noticed was how much quieter than my previous tires, which came with very high ratings. I have had these on my CRV for over 40K, and they still have considerable tread left. They are comfortable, have very good grip in wet weather, and are reasonably good in snow. I would not only recommend these tires, but will buy again when I need tires again.

Noise problems

Its a shame this tire is so noisy at lower speeds since it does everything else so well. I purchased these tires recently to replace the Pilot HX MXM4 original equipment tires inorder to get a quieter tire. The Pilots are good but tend get noisy about half way through their life. I was extrememly surprised to find that these tires were noisier than the Pilots when new. In fact these are the noisiest new tires I have ever had in nearly 30 years of buying tires. They ride and handle very well in wet and dry conditions, but the noise level is going to make living with these tires very difficult. What a shame.

Excellent group of tires

I am the owner of a Toyota Camry 2013 SE and it brought this tires and, now they have 2 years and around 13k miles (I know, is not that much in terms of mileage). The tires are simply perfect for any kind of circumstances and specially after I drove under heavy rain (my home is at Alabama) and suddenly a part of a tree fall off the road. I had to break and I thought that, in such weather condition, I won't be able to find grip to break from around 65 MPH to 0 but, impressively the tires has the perfect grip and, together with a well maintained car brakes, the car stopped safely. Perfect handling and comfort. Best tires for the price!!!

Great price, even better tires

I could feel the difference immediately. As soon as my new Primacy MXM4s were installed my drive was so much smoother. I no longer felt every bump in the road. I would definitely recommend these tires to anyone looking for new tires. The price I paid was only slightly more than the cheapest tires most places offered. Yet they are better than the mid-range tires on the market. Great price for an even better product.

Very Low Mileage

I bought a 2018 NIRO with Michelin MXM4 Primacy tires that came with the car. I now have only 22,200 miles on the car/tires, and I am be told by the dealer that I should think about replacing them already. That is not very good mileage for a premium Michelin tire! What is up with that? I drive 50/50 HWY/City. I drive an economical car, and my driving is the same, I am not hard on vehicles. I bought the car brand new February 2018 and I drive less than 10,000 miles a year, very disappointing in the mileage that I have gotten out of these Michelin Primacy tires.

We always buy Michelin ...

We always buy Michelin Tires and have never had a problem with them. The previous set of Pilot HX-MXM4s ran for 53K miles on a MB E500 4 Matic that is not driven lightly. Tires ran smooth and quiet till the end, no problems. So, when it was time to replace we got the newer Primacy MXM4s, so far they have about 3000 miles on them, with the same smooth and quiet ride. These tires are rated to go 50K miles, the Pilots were only rated at 35K, so they should last even longer..

MY MICHELIN'S MAKE ME FEEL SAFE

I live in western Pennsylvania and work in eastern Ohio -- need I say more regarding our weather? I have always been a white knuckle driver when it came to our winters. Snow and Ice --- scary stuff for me. But my new Michelin tires take me safely to and from work (30 miles round trip) and I always feel confident that they will keep me on the road and able to stop and start safely. I think that this is my 4th set of Michelin tires and I recommend them to everyone.

Good but leaky

Had these tires for just over a year now. I'm coming from years of Michelins that have required zero maintenance. These however, during cold months, are losing 5psi per week. They ride fine and grip the road fine, but I now have to be in the habit of constantly checking pressure.

Best tire I've ever owned

Most prominent features: - Excellent grip on the road in very wet, hard rainstorm conditions. Extremely resistant to hydroplaning. Very impressed. - Decreased Road Noise. Much quieter than previous tires. - Feel of smoothness and traction. Even on sharp turns at high speed, not even a hint of sliding.
