Bought this and delivered the day of a snowstorm. I assembled it with little trouble except the chute. I tried very carefully to attach the chute during assembly. I started snowblowing and immediatly the chute blew right off. I tried six more times to reinstall the chute to no avail it continued to come off each time. I gave up. I like the light weight of the unit and the power is fantastic even for upstate NY. If only that darn chute worked better I could give it 5 stars. But because the chute is needed to properly direct the snow I can only give it two stars.

This item was well priced at Walmart and arrived just on time, on the date it was expected. Took a little longer than expected to put together since the instructions are not very user friendly. One other issue was we were missing a part when putting it together only to find it had fallen out of the sealed box on the driveway when delivered? Not sure if it wasn't properly secured at the factory or that we received a returned Snow Joe? That said, we had a large dump of snow a few days ago and our new Snow Joe cleared the better part of the drive way. Couldn't handle the stuff at the end of the driveway but it did ease the job somewhat by clearing a better part of the driveway. Glad we went with the 13 amp.

It's a light snow mover the only issue is the deflection snow chute is plastic and it clips in on 3 grooves and has a screw to keep in place. Well the snow blasting out has a velocity that knocks it out of the grooves. Keep a Phillips screwdriver on hand to fix repeatedly.

It is small and light, but it does the job. I have used it only three times and I live is southern WI. We had three snow falls in the 6 - 8 inch range, so the snow depth, in places, was about 10 inches. I was pleased that this machine took care of it. The cord is a little bit of a hassle, but that is minor. I am pleased with it.

Ever since I bought it. It has not snowed, so have not been able to use it. I can't wait for Winter to try it out. Maybe now I've bought one it won't snow again? Ever since I bought a generator, the power has not gone out! So, obviously both machines are a success.
