I bought a whole rack of these prime ribeyes today and had them cut in 1 inch thick steaks...it was all wrapped up when I got home I unwrapped them and boy was I so disappointed and disguised!! Every steak had to be trimmed on the edges of pure thick fat....I ended up with 3 pounds of pure fat to dispose of...NO these PRIME ribeyes are not like shown in the picture above....@15.98/lb I have to throw away over $48.00 worth of steak fat...money doesn't grow on trees so they need to improve the quality of meat!! I will be spreading the word you can bet on that one!! I didn't bring it back to store cause I needed the steaks for big family gathering for Fathers Day and I don't live next door to Sams Club!!!!!!

I bought this yesterday and it weighed 12.24lb at $13.98/lb total cost is $171.12. I thought it was be a better deal than the pre-cut ones for $16.98/lb. But after trimming fat off to getting it look like the pre-cut version. The fat I trimmed off weighed 3.20lb thus making it more expensive than pre-cut ones at $19.00/lb. I guess sometime it doesn't pay to buy in bulk.

I prefer to buy from Sam's as the size is consistent with what we like.

It was tender and juicy and fresh.

Better prices than most and the 20.00 off helped to decide my purchase.
