One of the best prime rib roasts we’ve had. Very tender. Able to cut with a fork!

Excellent quality, was able to cut into 10-11 thick steaks. Not sure if I really saved much though by buying in bulk. Maybe 1 or 2 dollars per pound.

I always prefer to butcher my own prime beef so I get my cuts and trims. Sam’s cryo packed meat is top shelf.

I bought this a little over 17 pounds in April 2025 for $320 .,Amd less pounds and more money i want to buy one but ima hold out till the price cones down.But its a beautiful piece of meat to break down yourself,it was my first time breaking down a whole ribeye,but I've broken down whole tenderloin several times.

The meat is phenomenal but it is not priced properly. I like butchering my own meat so I can cut steaks as I like. The slab at my club was priced only $1 per pound less than butchered steaks. Considering that approx. 25% of the slab is waste because none of the fat is trimmed, buying the whole slab with all the excess fat ends up costing more than buying trimmed steaks. I don’t mind doing the work to butcher but I don’t think it should end up costing more per pound.

Prime was excellent but the cost was comparable to already cut. The best part was that buying in bulk allows for the size of the cut to your liking

My husband slices this himself and we vacuum seal it. We’re reducing our red meat intake so share one steak during a meal. Very tasty and filling with our sides.

This Ribeye slab was a bit fatty so allot to trim. The prices on meat like this slab are to expensive to buy now.

Fat strip should have been trimmed a bit more. I would guess the strip was close to 3lbs of the 17 lb total.

I have bought several whole ribeyes from sams, they have always been outstanding. But the last one I bought was terrible, not happy to spend $300+ and get a tough all fat ribeye
