The smart feature is excellent, I can adjust the temperature using my phone. It also warns me if the door is left open. It works well as of now, but I think I'm missing the bottom freezer door shelf because none of the ones I have fit in that area. Will have to see how long this holds up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought a new house with a beautiful builder-supplied Whirlpool counter depth frig/freezer that perfectly matched the kitchen. Unfortunately, I quickly discovered that its measly 21 cu. ft. (16 and 5) capacity wasn't big enough to really work with and I was constantly going to the store because I couldn't stage anything. Plus there was no room for beer, soda, or ice cream storage unless I wanted to keep all of the food out on the patio. So I bought this 28 cu. ft. Samsung for the garage. It's a beautiful appliance with a huge freezer and spacious refrigerator compartment that really makes meal planning much easier and there is room for beer, soda, and all the ice cream I can handle plus it makes far more ice than I need. My only complaint is that it tripped every code required ground fault interrupter that it was plugged into to include two brand new ones on dedicated circuits. Hmmmm. Should I keep refrigerator or be code compliant? No problem, I like the refrigerator far more than I like silly government rules. I replaced the GFI with a standard outlet and all is well with the world. I'm 69 years old and I'll let my son deal with the code when I'm dead and gone and he has to sell the place. In the mean time, I promise not to stand in a puddle of water when I open it to get a cold one. This is a really great purchase. There is a huge amount of space in both the freezer and refrigerator and it was actually relatively inexpensive for what you get. As an added benefit, if I forget to close it, it alarms to my phone. I almost forgot. this unit does a better job of keeping salads, fruits and vegetables fresh than any refrigerator that I have ever owned. If you don't need a counter-depth unit or a water dispenser, buy this.

But once you start using this it is a perfect fridge for any home. * Simple 2 door fridge with a lot of shelves and side storage racks. * Ice tray is on the left top door. * Adjustable shelves. * 3 baskets in the fridge to keep vegetables and fruits. * Fridge controls are inside behind the right door. * You can also control the temperature through the Samsung app. App also send you alerts if a door is not properly closed or ice tray is not placed back correctly. * This is my second fridge to keep in the basement for parties. Racks are perfect to keep soda and beers. * Fast cooling option to get drinks ready for the parties in no time. ** There is no side rack on the left door so don't worry if you see space there no part is missing. Same for the left side of the fridge as it looks like the basket is missing and the manual also shows like it has the basket but when you look at the actual colored pics on the site yous see there are no missing parts those slots are there so you can change the other shelves and rack to fir larger items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the design of this refrigerator, It's sleek and clean looking and I really like that it doesn't have a water dispenser. Our old refrigerator had a water dispenser and it was disgusting--there's just no way to wash them and so I'd rather use a filtered pitcher that I can wash. The only problem with this refrigerator is that we've lost power two times and each time the refrigerator does not turn back on. We have to wait for power to be restored, unplug the refrigerator and wait several minutes before plugging it back in. Our electric system is in perfect working order so I don't know why this would happen. Plus we never had this problem with our old refrigerator. We've been really lucky that we've been home when the power went out but this is really a huge problem if we have to worry about all our food rotting if we go out of town and the power goes out. I googled this problem and can't seem to find a solution. We put the refrigerator on a power strip with a surge protector and we're hoping this will fix it. If this doesn't work and we have to empty our fridge every time we travel, I will be very dissatisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new refrigerator. It is roomy and there is a spot for everything. The doors allow for storage gallons of milk and juice. The drawer hold a weeks worth of fresh produce. The shelves are larger and allow for easy access to everything. The icemaker is in the door which frees up an entire shelf in the freezer. It keeps up with the ice demand and we have quit buying bags of ice. There are enough shelves in the freezer that everything is organized and in plain sight. The only thing I would change is the ice access. We gave a designated scoop. I recommend this refrigerator for anyone who needs a new roomy refrigerator.

Great features, nice lighting, and lots of space! Only downside is no light for water/ice dispenser. Also crushed ice could be more crushed, but still highly recommend!

Well it seems like it, I transitioned from a freezer on the bottom french door style fridge to this nice sleek side by side. I have more freezer space, got a 20lb turkey in the fridge over CHristmas - so plenty of space. I like the drawers - i consider them a weak spot in most fridges because they crack and break, but the 2 drawers seem sturdy, and are holding up well. This is my first stainless applience, which does gather the finger prints, but they DO wipe off easily with a micro fiber cloth. Ice machine works great. Over all I really like it.
