The salt is good quality at a reasonable price. The Sam's club that I shop (Pensacola) just has a hard time keeping it in stock

This product didn't raise the salt level in the pool and left a red stain on the bottom. I put 8 bags in and the salt level only increased from 1000 to 1800. Will never buy this product again. Saved $2-$3 dollars per bag but at what cost.

I have used this salt for 3 seasons without any problems! I have an above ground pool; 12' x 24' x 52" with a liner. YOU MUST ADD SALT TO YOUR POOL "1st" - BEFORE ADDING ANY OTHER CHEMICALS!! ** This will ensure that you WILL NOT have any chemical reactions with other chemicals .. ie., metals

This is the first time I have used this brand of pool salt. I am very disappointed in it. I usually use Mortons Pool Salt but couldn't find it this year so went with the Clorox brand. I really wish I didn't. About 24 hours after use my pool water had a tint of green (not algae) due to the metals in my water which is NOT well water btw . Mortons never reacts to the metals but this brand does. All summer I have been adding a metal and stain controller because swimming in lime green water is gross! Before you purchase this test your water at home to see how much metals is in your water or you will have a rough time with this product. With that said I would not recommend this nor will I ever purchase this again I will search for Morton Pool Salt for next summer!

One bag of this salt stained our entire vinyl in-ground pool. I have now spent more than $100 (not including the electric bill running my filter 24/7 for a week already) trying to keep the stain from returning using ascorbic acid and Jack's Purple Magic. The salt dissolved fine - as a long term pool owner, I know how to add salt! This product is a disgrace and I'm disgusted that Clorox does not have better quality control. I've always used Morton Pool salt from Walmart and like an idiot - bought this bag cuz it was cheaper. Cheap no good - I'm paying the ultimate price.

So Tried this salt a few times and always found I needed 70% more then other brands... Definitely did not match with their amount to add. Brand new water in a 40k gallon pool so something way off on clorox pool salt. then I had too high of metal count after adding it. STEER CLEAR!!! Wish Sams would go back to old provider!!
