Bags of salt were hard as a rock. Had to break up the salt into smaller chunks to dissolve it. Better off going into the store and picking out the bags yourself.

Sometimes, pool salt can be hit or miss in terms of coarseness and the time it takes to dissolve. This one was super-fine (like table salt) and clean. A half bag dumped into the pool completely dissolved within seconds.

Good product.Reasonable price.Walmart just needs to keep it in stock a.little better through the season.It is sometimes hard ro get and is a must for pool maintenance throughout the summer not just at start up.

They were mostly a solid block of salt that couldn't even be broken up to poor into the pool. One of the bags were taped where it was torn open. Have the feeling they were very old to be in such condition.
