The product is meant for swimming pools, comes from a well known company, sells for a fairly reasonable price, and being able to purchase it at our local Walmart makes it very convenient.

I used this as an alternative to sand, which is more expensive and less dense, for a weighted vest and backpack for exercising. For that purpose it performed flawlessly.

Price reasonable. Seasonality of its availability requires buying a large amount before the store quits carrying salt for use throughout the winter months in Texas where salt chlorination occurs the year around.

i buy pool salt for weeds that grow in my yard. i dont use pesticides or insecticide s on my property at all. i either throw it around the base of the plant or melt it in water and use a sprayer to spray the whole plant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clorox band pool supplies are the best on the market and work the best in the salt water pool system.

Delivery was horrible! Each bag had a hole in and salt was on my driveway up my walkway and on front porch. When transferred to pool area each bag was as hard as a rock. Spent hours putting in a pail and hammering out the solid blocks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2 bags had holes and salt spilled at Walmart and all over the back of my car. Staff could have taped them closed or chosen intact bags.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Salt was supposed to be granular but was in solid chunks. Very hard to break apart to dissolve in pool. Appeared to maybe be leftover from last year

disolves quickly, is fine, as long as it wasn't stored out in the rain. this is much better than Morton pool salt which is not as fine %26 usually very lumpy %26 takea much longer to disolve

Good quality salt for the pool, dissolves easily and the bag has a tear strip making opening pretty easy. Very convenient, and Walmarts price is very good
