This is the best salt for your salt generator pool. Dissolve asap maybe push pool brush around the bottom for maybe 3 mins. I only push brush around pool once. Great and I’ve used them all so don’t waste your time with crystals or pellets takes for ever to push around to dissolve.

Turned our above ground pool water green and is nothing like the Morton pool salt I was trying to purchase. Doesn’t seem like the water even got salty, nor do salt levels register with the chlorinator. I question what’s in the product. Now trying to shock the pool and need some Morton’s

I think this salt works fine, but I did notice that I’ve been getting more sand in the bottom of my pool. I really did like the way dissolves quickly, but I’m afraid I may not be able to use it anymore because of the sand. I only saw one other review that talked about the sand. I have had no problems with the staining of the liner that is probably more of a problem with the water chemistry not caused by the salt. If you don’t mind vacuuming up the sand it should be fine.

We bought this salt when putting up our new pool last summer and we diluted in a bucket of water before throwing in pool and we never had a problem with stains. our pool stayed perfect all summer. Looking to buy more to get ready to open pool in spring.

What can I say about Clorox? I’ve had great out comes from using Clorox pool brands, including the salt or the clarifier or the shock products No problem I’ve had with Clorox was the stain treatment remover other than that I buy Clorox for everything ..

Use this salt every year, works great! As far as pool salt goes, we have used a few brands, and honestly, this one is a great value for the price. We've used it every year for the last several and have no plans on switching up- works well with our intex salt system, and the handy clorox testing system you use with your phone just makes life so much simpler.

Hi i picked up 10 bags recently and upon dumping them into the pool an odd brown scum floated up across the whole surface... not sure what's changed but i had to skim a lot to clear things up - salt came out white however but the bags were sorta giving a blue crumbly texture? Maybe i got some old stuff, i don't know, but i do know this has never happened before so now I'm vaccing the pool AGAIN and hoping this doesn't mess up anything for my opening. Either way - maybe time to look at alternatives if this is the new norm? I really liked this brand but i'm now a little more open to something else.

This price is a good deal dollar wise, however it is not my first choice. It does dissolve quickly however is not very "clean". There is obvious dirt sediment that you can see in the salt and pieces of random of debris that litter the bottom of the pool. Minor, but sill required cleanup with the pool vacuum.

Dissolves surprisingly quickly in cool (62F) water. Added 8 bags all at once, tested salinity one hour later, test came out spot on. Great use of the online ordering process, since they brought over 300%23 of salt out to my truck without me having to schlep it out myself. 10 out of 10, will do that again.

Great product at a fabulous price point. Problem is they ship it in the product bag…every bag we received was busted open and taped by the delivery company. Walmart refunded all my money. If you can pick this product up, DO IT! Don’t waste your money buying the more expensive bags.
