I reordered 200 lb of pool salt. The original order was delivered in the original packaging which was great. The reorder came as 5 boxes each with one 40%23 bag of salt that I had to openand then dispose of. The order was 2 days late so it must have taken the extra time to put them in boxes.

As a pool owner of 7 years I have never had trouble adding salt or any other chemicals to our pool. I added the salt last week and it stained the bottom of our pool. After I added the salt, I brushed the areas several times so salt would not sit on the bottom. the areas stained were throughout the pool due to this. I have now spent several hours researching how to get stains out and am now paying for products to try and resolve this.

I’ve had great results from these 40lb bags. You do have to be careful in selection however. Where I am at, Walmart stores them outside and they can get rained on. If the bags are torn then taped back up, they tend to be less than 40lbs of salt and if wet, … useless to you

Great Value as the price for pool salt has risen in recent weeks. Convenient to have it delivered. The delivery is a little sketchy as the bags came in individual boxes and the delivery service dropped 12 individual boxes/bags in front of our garage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Price was competitive not the lowest. Pool salt is salt - hard to give it a superior rating, any downside is related to bag and comfort of carrying handle (or lack thereof) for multiple 40 Lb. bags.

Excellent price. Extremely thankful for delivery. During highs of lockdown this was nearly impossible to get. The charge was 2 and 3 x’s higher to have it shipped and they stopped ordering in our store in July even though where we live pools can be used 9 months out of the year. On December 30 it is 77 out. Product does it’s job and the price is fair.

I can’t believe the bags were not checked, Two of the five bags had holes in the bags that spilled all over my front porch. Secondly, I had annotated that I wanted the bags put in front of my garage doors if they happen to leak it would have been easier to clean. Can I have two bags replaced and these bags dropped in front of my garage doors? Thank you.

DO NOT USE IF USING INTEX CHLORINATOR. This is our first year using this brand. We’ve always used Morton’s. So we put the salt in, stirred it all up, let it run through the pump alone for a day. Was leaving for a cpl hrs so turned the chlorinator on and when we got back 2hrs later our pool was GREEN. Come to find out, clorox salt has a high iron content that has a chemical reaction to the copper chlorinator. We had to drain half the pool, refill with hose water, and now waiting for the sun to do it’s thing and hopefully between the mix of it all, when we turn the chlorinator back on tomorrow, it’ll say low salt and then we can add the Morton’s. Saving $8 cost us another $100 in hopefully fixing the mess. NEVER again. No idea how it works with other saltwater systems.

Dissolves surprisingly quickly in cool (62F) water. Added 8 bags all at once, tested salinity one hour later, test came out spot on. Great use of the online ordering process, since they brought over 300%23 of salt out to my truck without me having to schlep it out myself. 10 out of 10, will do that again.

Delivered to my address and unloaded it in my garage the next day after ordering, three days ahead of schedule! WOW! Excellent product. With superior service. Kudos to Walmart, always focused on customer satifaction! Pleasure doing business with you guys!
