Great price on pool salt

DONT USE! I started using this salt two years ago, perfect pool up till then. Noticed rust stains, started researching, and LOTS of others say the exact same thing, both here and the rest of the interweb. This is the only change I have made in the last two years, and it is DEFINITELY the Clorox salt. Thanks for ruining my perfect pool surface. I'm contacting an attorney & looking into a class action lawsuit. This costs homeowners thousands of dollars if done correctly and completely. UNACCEPTABLE! Stay tuned, I'll post up the results here & everywhere else I can think of.

I cannot believe Sam's Club still allows this product to be sold in their stores. I used for about 2 years and got big brown patches in the bottom of my pool. I spent $100's on cleaners and tools and still could not get out. No one could figure where these spots were coming from. I was checking stock and I saw the reviews here and I have the same problem as many others. I am back to the pool store to pay $2 more a bag for the best product for my pool and chlorinator. I am shocked that a product to help clean your pool is doing this type of damage and this has gone on for so long....

I’m not sure what the negative reviews are a result of, but so far our experience with this product has been great. Prior to finding this brand of pool salt at Sam’s we were spending several dollars more per 40# bag at our local home improvement store and that product was like rock salt compared to the fine table salt consistency of Clorox pool salt. It dissolves almost immediately and increases the NaCl ppm reading on our salt chlorine generator very quickly. We have observed no stains or other issues after using many bags over the past summer months and will continue to purchase as long as Sam’s carries this item (hopefully indefinitely)!
