Sams usually has good quality bulk garlic. Not this time. This was oily and pungent but has the smallest cloves I’ve ever seen. Even using smash peeling it’s a chore. I’d wait until they change to a better breed.

Absolutely awful bag of garlic majority was moldy and rotten Thanksgiving eve and it’s all bad, I will not buy this brand ever again. Also I’ve purchased two bags of peeled garlic and it molded quickly. Horrible smell, taste less product.

Big bag of nice garlic bulbs with roots attached. Not sure why there is no product of origin on the label of the bag, however, the shipping container box says, fresh garlic, product of USA.

All the bulbs where very small and most hardened at the root end (too dry/old). Not worth the trouble to peel and trim so they went to compost. I don't recommend.

I picked the garlic up today (6/15/2024), opened it up and threw away about 5 heads out of about 15 heads. So it wasn’t too bad. The garlic is from California-I looked up Spice World on line. It doesn’t say on the bag from what country. I’m satisfied with the product.

Seperate cloves leave skin saute in avocado oil and butter with turmeric and paprika and salt. Very low heat with a lid until soft . I can eat a whole bulb and then use the rest to spread on garlic bread. The skins come right off. The garlic is so warm and soft. Delishous.

Should have chosen the bags with white garlic, but I wanted the ones with a bit of purple/lavender on them. Big mistake, as whey you tear the cloves apart or peel them, you can see see black mold on the majority of them. Nasty! Next time I'll inspect my bag closely and make sure I only get the bags that contain white bulbs.

Good luck getting a half bag of useful garlic. the rest are dried out or black dusty mold.
