Spice World is well known for selling Chinese garlic. Not buying garlic of mysterious origin. How about selling California sourced garlic and shallots?

The garlic had extremely small/thin cloves which took forever to peel (so many as well!). May try another bag one last time. If it's the same story, never again!

Does not store well in dark cool shed. Only last couple weeks and goes soft and worthless. Have to throw away much of the bag and we try to use a lot of garlic 🧄 in everything.

I haven't seen garlic bulbs that break into tens of tiny cloves like these. Not only you have a lot more work to remove the papery skin off these tine cloves, you also have to figure out how many of these tiny cloves makes one normal sized one. When your recipe calls for 6 cloves of garlic, how many tiny ones do you need? 18? 24?

I had to discontinue purchasing this fresh garlic. The quality has really gone downhill in the last couple of years. It dries out very quickly and has a lot of blemishes on the cloves. I use a lot of garlic, but this used to be so much better. I think the last time I looked at a label on Sam's Club fresh garlic; it claimed to have been grown in China. If that is the case, then it loses some of its keeping qualities during transit.
