Member's Mark Potting Mix Planting Soil, 55 Quarts has turned the top soil green from algae after the rain on all of my potted outdoor plants. :(

Potting soil was worst ever. Dried out and plants were dying. Needed to replant all the pots using a different brand potting soil.

This should NOT be called potting soil. It does not look like the soil pictured on the bag. It is nothing more than bark chips and roots with a bit of Pearlite mixed in. No soil to be seen. Use it if you need mulch. Otherwise, stay clear.

I took a chance on this MM potting soil and regret it. As other reviews state it is full of wood pieces and really chunky. It’s not good for starting seeds or potting plants. If you’re using it outdoors it should be ok.

This material is a poor excuse for potting mix (soil). It's more like pine bark mulch with a little sphagnum peat moss and a sprinkle of vermiculite. Definitely will not buy again.

I bought a couple bags of this a few weeks ago. It seems more like mulch than potting soil. It even smells very woody. The flowers I planted in this are not thriving. Many seems to slowly be dying.

Used a lot of this last year, No problem. This year it is not the same product it was last year. Has a lot of junk in it (sticks etc) Very unhappy with this product' Miracle Gro is much better.

This product is lightweight because it contains peat. Peat has little to no nutrients and needs extra fertilizer. It also requires a wetting agent because as it dries out it actually repels water even more. No bueno.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a good size bag of potting mix that I was able to use for 3 of my plants. My plants are growing well for the 1 month that I have used this soil. It doesn’t have any scent and is good quality soil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This potting mix is great for planting flowers. I fill all of my planters with this soil. The flowers seem to really like it. They grow well and I have tons of blooms. Overall, it’s a good quality soil that’s perfect for nearly any type of planting around the house. I’d definitely recommend this brand.
