I purchased the Members Mark professional potting mix however I do not consider myself a professional, I'm more in need professional help with my plants. This is for indoor and outdoor container plants and I'm using it to start my seedlings and later take outside. The potting mix was very easy to work with, no terrible odor and my seedlings popped right up just like they're supposed to and are growing strong. I even had my grandkids help me plant with this soil, they loved it too. This is exactly what I was looking for and so far going great, I will be buying again.

Member's Mark Professional quality potting soil is for indoor and outdoor potted plants. I'm an avid planter and this bag will go a long way for all my pots. This soil feeds for 6 months and has moisture control. I'm excited to see how my plants and flowers grow in this soil!

This product was provided in exchange for an honest review. I usually go through quite a bit of potting mix when starting plants for my garden. I didn't even realize that Sam's Club carried a private label brand of potting mix, but I was excited to try it. The price is excellent and it lists many of the same benefits (moisture control, etc) as my preferred brand, for which I was paying much more. While I have not seen the results of my planting yet, I can say that for the price it appears to be a quality planting mix. There are a bit more large bark pieces than I prefer, but it is similar to the major national brand. I appreciated that the packaging gave very detailed regional ingredient lists, so you know exactly what went into each bag and can add other additives as desired.

If it is possible, I would rate it 0. Worst potting mix I have seen over last two decades. It is much more like mulch than potting mix/soil.

There was some large pieces of wood in the mix. I know wood is part of the mix, yet these were large pieces. Outside of that the mix has performed well, like MG.

Terrible potting soil. Very woody with a strange consistency. I bought three bags and only used part of one before I went to another store and bought Miracle Gro.

The price was right but the mix is lacking quality. Too much perlite and I had to pick out so many chunks of wood. Probably would work real well in a raised bed as this mix needs to watered every day since it doesn't hold water well.

This is a very fine product compared too the national brand. Save some cash but don't worry about losing any quality. The potting soil is a fine product. Thanks.

I am a hope to die Miracle grow girl..but i love this soil, and I love the price. I did all my gardening this year ( above the ground garden and pots) with this soil

terrible potting soil, full of large wood chips and mold. Returned all of it. They used to carry Miracle grow potting soil in past years which is excellent. They made they bag look like the Miracle grow product!! Don't be fooled.
