The amount of soul you get for the price is one of my favorite things about it. It's enough soil to plant quite a few things or just a top off. It's moist and does a great job getting my plants to grow.

This is great potting soil! It's soft yet compact and has a nice texture to it. It's easy to plant and spread. I found using a plastic cup did the trick and I could move it around and spread it. Very high quality product

The potting mix is easy to use. I opened the bag and dumped a bunch in my pot for planting lettuce. The potting mix was light, yet had good substance to it. It did not crumble from being chunky as other potting mixes I have gotten. I sprinkled some dry organic matter on top of each planter to help retain moisture. My daughter enjoyed planting seeds in the potting mix. I only have a couple pots left to plant before emptying the bag. I am looking forward to growing herbs and lettuce in my sun porch even though there is snow on the ground outside.

This is a really good potting soil compared to other more expensive brands, I would much rather have this brand for the cost than the name brand. The soil looks as good as if not better than the name brand. It is rich and the perfect consistency. I can’t wait to pot my tomato plants in this. Still a little too early for that though.

This potting mix is very dark with some bark mixed in. It is moist but not overly wet. There are great instructions that you can read easily so that you use it correctly. The bag is durable and doesn't tear apart easily. I love that you can use it on your indoor as well as outdoor plants!

Well I'm sure had I got this from the store it may have been a better review, but it was shipped to me, and as you will see in the pictures it had holes all through the bag and made a mess when I opened it. Furthermore having the holes in it dried out a lot of the soil so as for moist soil I can't answer that due to mine being dried out. Judging by what was all over my floor it seems to be of good quality. Again I say DO NOT have this shipped to you, if you need potting soil go to the store so you can look at the bags yourself.

Bought one bag earlier this year -- had the typical "Miracle Grow" look with Vermilucite particles and small workable soil mixture. Last 2 bags I bought had the consistency of compost that we buy at the local nursery. Not a nice mixture that lends to use in potting seedlings. I have purchased 10 more bags, and have found the same compost type mixture in at least one (have not used the others yet)---Might take them all back and dish out the extra $5.00 per bag for real Miracle Grow.

After the hard winter, most of my plants were dead, and I had to change them. Upgrading to a different soil and potting mix was essential. If I check the unit price of this is very better. Plus, it has good nutrition in it for the indoor and outdoor plants. I keep them in a patio so there's no direct rain or sunlight. But it is a good product to use at home.

This is a quality looking potting soil. It is not too heavy which could make pots too much to carry. It spreads well and doesn’t pack too dense. Time will tell if it promotes good growth since I just planted with it but from all appearances it should perform fine.

The potting soil came in a very large bag that was very difficult to handle without help. There was no handle on the bag and it was slightly perforated. The soil itself is a quality mix with fillers and looks nutrient dense. The soil was not sandy or excessively dry.
