It has the smell of some manure being in it. Never had that smell before in potting soil.

I’m a bit disappointed. Yeah you get a lot more product for a cheaper price, but it’s not worth saving the money when it’s nothing but a bunch of wood. I would use this as a mulch top layer to keep soil from drying out, but I don’t see me using it as the sole form of potting/planting soil. It’s just not doing it for me. I knew something wasn’t right when I had to throw out large chunks of wood, and then the soil got a mold commonly found on MULCH. Woosahhh calm down... I’m just disappointed. Buy it if that’s all you can afford, or just use it as mulch.
