Garden soil texture,no fertiliser

It's not potting mix, texture is like garden soil. Full of wood chips. And not much of fertiliser. Non of the plants grew, all my plants were unfed..unhealthy and poor looking.

Large pieces of wood

This was the worse potting soil. It had so many large pieces of mulch in it. For large containers it would be ok but I was potting up cuttings and it was not good.

Too much mulch and sticks

This potting soil would not work for indoor plants. It contains too much mulch and sticks. I will use the bag I purchased for outdoor container planting. A decent price but will have limited use.

Not a replacement for Miracle Grow

Nothing like the Miracle Grow it replaces. Could barely get a shovel in it because it was one big hard clump in the bag. Hope they get Miracle Grow back in stock.

Disappointed

I purchased this since the big bag of MG potting soil looks to be no longer available. Used it today and it was very dry and clumpy, I'm nervous about how it'll hold up in the summer heat for my flowers.

It sent my plants into shock

I pray they will recover, some are from family funeral services and I have had for years. It had a few wood pieces than other brands, but, its a lot for the price!

Not worth it

I wasn't sure about this potting soil but for the price I thought I would try it. There were wood chips in it and did not look as dark as my usual brand. I'm hoping and praying the plants in the planters grow. Will not buy again.

Bag of mulch

This dirt is awful! It's mostly chunks of wood/mulch. Doesn't soak up water, just runs right through it. Bring miracle gro moisture mix back in club, disappointed in this brand.

Take Two!

This product has changed in its consistency from last season. Same packaging. This product contains the same ingredients but are courser in texture. The coconut coir is course shedded as opposed to finely ground coir in last seasons mix. The pine bark is larger but shows good decomposition. I have not used this new courser mix but it looks promising. It should have good moisture retention and excellent aeration.

First Impressions are Good

This is nice soil. It has peat moss, perlite and composted shavings. There are a few small pieces of wood, but not too many. Extended release fertilizer is present. It has a light airy feel. Attempts to wet it initially were a little slow. After wetting it seems to hold water adequately.
