I always trusted Sam’s Club till now. Found a worm inside my strawberry. The worst part is not only did I throw them away because it made me feel sick but I would’ve never noticed if it wasn’t because I cut my strawberry. My kids walk in the fridge and just grab strawberries and eat them. And it won’t let me upload the pic. But i do have pics!!

I ordered these but i got a different brand which weren't as good. If u advertise a brand u should send that brand...if u don't have that brand don't take it upon yourself u send another brand...just say u r out of this brand...that really irradiated me off, i only eat Driscoll strawberries nothing else!!!

These strawberries are sweeter than the ones from the grocery store. They were all red (instead of some white ones at the bottom like the ones found in a grocery store). They were also bigger. They seemed more ripe and as a result, sweet and juicy. I highly recommend.

If this was the first and only time this had happened I wouldn't be so bothered but although the berries looked good through the packaging once I opened them at home they were moldy and squishy. I forgot to open the container in the store before scanning but it's so cold in the room where they keep the "fresh" fruit that I only briefly checked. I also bought 2 packages of blackberries that were also moldy. The price for strawberries was good and sometimes the quality is great but more often lately I'm finding mold and/or squishy fruit.

The consistent problem with shopping and picking up online is PRODUCE!!! The berries I received were not even red, they were pink. There was no taste or even smell to them! I should have returned them but I had picked them up on a Sunday morning before store hours or Plus members could go in. I wasn’t gonna drive the 40+ miles back the next day either! Disappointed as they were for company on Christmas…

I bought a big container of fresh strawberries thinking I would eat them all before they go bad. I ended up having to toss them after a few days because they were going bad. They are sweet but for some reason they start to shrivel and dry up after a couple days or so. I also had some that were smashed because of how they were packed in the crates. I wished they were sold in smaller containers so that I didn’t have to worry about wasting them.

From 2# if strawberries we were able to eat eight strawberries. They were soggy and brown. I used customer pick up and was very unhappy that they choose these. Don’t think they would have chosen the package for themselves . I have to say they are usually much better.

Charlottesville VA Sam’s Club should be ashamed! I ordered a curbside pickup of $302 in groceries. The order included one pack of strawberries and one pack of blackberries. My husband picked up the order because I was sick, so he didn’t realize he should have checked behind them to make sure we got quality fruits. BOTH fruits were spoiled/molded and had actually turned “soupy” in the container before he could even unload them from the car. I will be contacting Sam’s today and I expect a full refund for both. What a mess!!

I rated these three stars because quite honestly, it's virtually impossible to get good sweet tasting fresh strawberries. Many of them in the container had obviously unripened areas that needed to be cut out. About the only way I eat these in this condition is to chop them up, add sugar and put them over ice cream or biscuits with cream.

There was a great chunk of white mold devouring several of the berries, and weeping around the inside of the package. It's one more reason to go into the store, as any dolt could have seen the problem. But I'm old and will find suppliers that I can trust to fill an order. Most of the berries I could wash and salvage, tho' they were showing some obvious aging.
