Strawberries, 2 lbs.

The strawberries were mostly in good shape, some a little over ripe, but you can't beat the price.

Bought some this weekend and they are RED, not ORANGE! Taste is good and you can freeze easily!

Many strawberries were soft, dark, and moldy

The whole container had large, ripe, sweet strawberries. Not one mushy one in the bunch!

The strawberries weren’t ripe, the middle to the top wasn’t good enough to eat.

They started molding the next day. I no longer buy fruit at Sam's Club. It started with the bananas.  Although, I would get the mostly green bananas with 2 to 3 days they would start turning black. The raspberries and black berries. Unless you have a large group of people to eat the fruit that day, the day on which you purchased the fruit, it is a waste of money! The grapes and organic blueberries so far are the only items I will buy. The last blueberries were mushy. I pray they don't become instant rotting.

Ummmm, NO!

We had fresh strawberries from this area years ago while on a trip to California. The ones we bought from Sam's were just as good! My first bite took me right back to California! So good! They were juicy and sweet--exactly what a strawberry should be! Very impressed!
