Driscoll Strawberries defective

Just brought home the Driscoll's Strawberries which had no taste and were mushy and watery. Called the Sam's Club in Lady Lake and told them and they said they would contact their buyer, but this is the first time I have been let down in 15 years there, so I want the store produce person to sample a box of the FL berries before accepting them and wasting a customer's time trying to get them replaced with something edible.

Not happy

A lot of the strawberries that were in the containers were bad. You couldn't see them through the packaging unless you took them all out and went through all of them. I bought 4 containers of them because we got them before and was very happy with them. These were nowhere near as good as the other. The strawberries didn't last as long before either. Buyer beware.

I thought I was dreaming

I read reviews about this product and was on the fence. I read soooo many bad reviews I actually didn't want to get em. My wife love strawberries and bought them anyways Not knowing about the reviews. When she pulled them out at home... My eyes bucked wide open. Them things were so pretty and big as a tangerine. I bit one and all that sweet juice made me a believer. Always trust the wife!

Stinky Fruit!

I kept wondering where the smell was coming from. Smells like rotting meat. Idk if Driscoll or Sam's are spraying these berries to make them look fresh or what but they stink like hell. It's like someone sprayed strawberry perfume on chicken that's been sitting in the Sun. Only reason it got 1 star was because they LOOK fresh.

The BEST!

These are the most wonderful strawberries. They are consistently fresh, ripe and oh so tasty and sweet. Strawberries I've bought elsewhere fall flat compared to these. I buy two every week as long as they are in season and in stock. Never been disappointed.

I just picked these strawberries today and due to medical reasons I MUST wash strawberries and blueberries etc with vinegar and baking soda prior to eating them. However today I see about 7-8 dead mosquitos in the bottom of the strawberries. I don't know where Sam's gets their strawberries but I'm not liking these mosquitoes in the fruit. I have a picture to prove it

Love these strawberries

The Driscoll I found to be the most flavorful, but you do have to inspect to make sure they are not moldy or showing signs they are going to go bad soon. I use the fresh lock containers and they stay good until gone and I have them every morning with breakfast.

Mold yuck

I don't know how many times I have bought these like other produce. Mold all the time. I went in the store and talked to their "manager or front end whatever" and they are "aware and can't do anything about their shipments". So why sell food with mold? Check your produce!

Great Service

This was my first using the option of store pickup for any items. I was very pleased with the process and outcome. A service rep called to verify my order of 50 cases of strawberries and they were ready for pickup at the time I picked. I will most definitely be using this service again.

Going bad

Lesson learned: I will not let anyone else pick my strawberries. I added them to my list to pick up. They were dark red and turning bad. The whole batch didn't last but for a couple of days. I could have returned them but I live all the way in Hampton and it was a hassle to go 20 minutes back. So if you want the right strawberries, pick them in person. They always have good batches in the store but the person who picked mine out didn't give much thought for picking out a good batch.
