I often buy Tasty Bite products at other grocery stores and was so happy to find the Madras Lentils at Sam's. I've already bought these twice and hope they are a permanent addition to the store. We often eat it with rice, like other reviewers.

This have a delicious flavor but unfortunately I did not see any whole lentils or kidney beans. It was the texture of gravy no whole kidney beans or lentils I was very disappointed. I will not buy them again unless I need the flavorful gravy.

Texture and flavor are just right as is or to use in a recipe. So good.

I bought this for some healthy quick meals, sauteed some mushrooms quick in a cast iron and put it with the lentils. Tasted great and was fast!
