Product details

Tasty Bite Madras Lentils are a quintessential recipe from India. Soft lentils and red kidney beans are slow-cooked in a creamy tomato sauce with onions and a variety of spices. When you can't make a trip to your favorite local Indian restaurant, Tasty Bites brings you an easy option for a weeknight meal at home. Not only are Madras lentils filling, they're packed with protein and fiber. It's a healthy meal indeed!

Best Way to Enjoy Madras Lentils

Because it heats up in only 60 seconds, you can enjoy a quick, warm meal any time of the day. It's a vegetarian option with a mild spice level. Serve the warmed up lentils as a hearty soup, lentil and bean chili, or as a delicious blanket over a bed of rice. Top it with fresh cilantro, jalapeños or a dollop of yogurt for extra creaminess.

So Good!

I never would have given this a second glance if not for the sampler who offered me a taste of this. It’s so good!!!! I’ve had it plain and over rice, and both were delicious. Hope this one stays in stock!

Surprisingly tasty

These are quick and delicious. I put them on baked potatoes and they taste like chili. I get a much healthier dinner that way because I don’t need butter or sour cream and no meat.
