I think the cheese had been frozen because it just crumbled when you woild try to take a slice out of the packeage.

I buy this cheese on a regular basis. Great for sandwiches, burgers and snacking. There is no need to get my cheese from the deli, as long as I have this pack.

This brand of colby jack cheese has a good taste and is so conveniently sliced in large resealable pouch. No more forced to buy small amounts when this is a better deal.

Great product and price! Sam’s - can you please seal each stack separately? I never get through the package before it gets moldy. Tried freezing and the slices stick together.

I bought this cheese for a party the day before the party, thinking it would great. After serving the cheese people noticed the mold. People had already eaten the moldy cheese after we had noticed. After checking the date it said it was still good. It wasn’t one piece it was ALL of the pieces. I won’t be buying this cheese EVER AGAIN.

I consistently buy Sam's Club bulk cheese packs and blocks but recently in 2023, the natural cheeses have a musty taste but no mold. I don't know if there are inconsistencies in their storage temperatures or if these products are exposed to other perishable products that are exposed to moisture that turn musty and the smell permeates the cheese packaging. I will longer buy natural cheese at Sam's Club because this has happened frequently as of late and I don't like throwing my money in the trash.

We have loved this cheese for years. First the paper in between slices went away. NOW, the slices are so thin, you can't get one solid piece off of the stack of them. This is the case with the last 2 packages. Going to check the weight on the next one and make sure it matches the package. There is no point to making the slices thinner unless you are selling by the slice not weight. Hopefully this is an inconsistency issue, and if so I will report back and bring the stars up.

Tastes fresh and wonderful, but I'm curious of anyone knows how long it can be refrigerated before getting moldy? It says no preservatives so I'm curious. Used a whole package in a week due to cooking out, so the next might be split in half and frozen.

I normally buy my sliced cheese elsewhere but got caught short and bought this cheese. I had to peel apart mashed up slices that had no paper between them to keep them from sticking together. . I spent more time than I needed peeling apart all those slices.
