I bought this 2 weeks ago and have used it every night since. Before I purchased this my wife and I could not sit on our deck in the evening without being over run with mosquitos. Now we sit all evening mosquito free. As I said in the title it's the very best. Thank you.

I did not think I’d get a chance to review this as it’s late November in Texas , but sure enough we were sitting on the patio and started get bit , got out the Patio shield and in s few minutes no more mosquitoes were bothering us . Great product, easy to use and it works !

I bought this about a month ago because my area has mosquitoes populations that are out of control due to ponds and sitting water. I'm allergic to mosquitoes and so are a couple of my teenage children. The sprays on the market although they sometimes work, leave you having to shower off or in my case, more allergies. The thermacell works great and I can sit out early am and at dusk with my Coonhound and enjoy the time i!

We love the Thermacell Patio Shield Mosquito Repeller. We love that it is portable and that it does not have to be plugged in. It gives us the protection we need when we are outside sitting on our porch and relaxing. We don't have to worry about mosquitos because the Thermacell Patio Shield Mosquito Repeller is giving us the piece of mind that we are surrounded by protection. It is simple and easy to use and the cartridge and mats are easy to replace when needed. This is a great little device and a cleaner way for mosquito protection.

I live in the south where its hot and humid. Perfect for pesky mosquitoes. This device is amazing and covers a big area. Now we can sit out side at night and relax instead of fighting the Jurassic mosquitoes in south Florida. Iykyk. Now we grill and enjoy summer nights out doors more. We love it.

So far using this mosquito repeller, it seens to be keeping the mosquitos away. I live in hot/humid area and I did notice alot less mosquitos, and they were hesitant to cone around. The repeller get hot at the bottom and puts out a bit of smoke that doesn't have mych of a smell. I like that you can pretty much take this anywhere.

I live in Georgia and we got bugs of all sizes, and plenty of mosquitos. I have a large back patio where we enjoy our hammock, grill or enjoy the sun, which helps keep the bugs away. It’s best to let it be outside for 5-10 Mins before you go outside but you will see it does make a shield and it keeps you from lathering up bug spray.

The Patio Shield works really well once you figure it out. If you've had a Thermacell before, it's pretty much the same, and uses the same consumables, although the instructions could be a bit more detailed on some things like using the lid for the base, or the holding slots for extra mats inside the body by the butane tank. There's no mention of either of those in the instructions. Functionally, the Patio Shield is easy to use - screw in the tank and twist the body to ignite. Simples. It seems to work fine sitting on just the bottom of the body without the cap under it. With or without the cap, it isn't great on uneven ground, but is fine on finished surfaces (floors, railings, etc). My first Thermacell was one of the portable units, and I like this one just as much if not more.

I was was really excited to give this a try(The 15ft zone) so that my youngest would be able to enjoy outside without getting but up as he is a bit allergic to mosquitoes and can't really enjoy without getting sprayed down, but It honestly did not work. Once we sat it nice and high, made sure it was lit and staying on and waited to see if it would work we did notice a slight decrease in them but they were still pretty much biting us and we were hoping for a mosquitoe free zone, we've only been able to try a few times due to weather but we will try once more and who knows maybe 3rd time is a charm :)

I bought one Green repeller and we liked it so much we bought two more. The first one came with a cap and the next 2 didn't have the cap. I thought it could have ben a packing mistake. After calling customer service I was told they don't have caps anymore . Strange because the advertisement still says cap included. They have lost a formerly happy customer. Returning the the ones without caps.
