[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for young children and teenagers who want to crush ice and own a kitchen gadget like the grownups in their lives that is easy for them to use. You put standard ice cubes in the machine, the lid is easy to use, and it crushes the ice for you. This machine uses ice cubes, crushes them, but does not produce shaved ice that is smooth enough to absorb syrup in the desired manner. You won't be able to sneak into the kitchen after everyone has gone to bed to get a treat since the machine is so loud. As a result, while I wouldn't say that this machine was designed with adults in mind, it is ideal for children who want to assist in the kitchen and easily be able to prepare things on their own. My daughter loved making her own snow cones and found it to be simple to use. I like the aqua color and that the machine is not overly big so it does not take up much space.

I had to look at the directions to see how to put it together because the base goes in another piece which is great for storage. There was no on an off button so the only way to turn it on was by plugging it in. Once the ice was in there it kept stopping. I’m not sure if it was because the ice was getting low but I had to keep unplugging it and replug it back in to use it. I didn’t even get all of the ice out. It was a pain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my experience with the dash shaved ice maker has been great i really like the color of it alot and i really like the size of it alot and i really like the fact how quickly it makes the ice i really like everything about it alot and i was very impressed with everything about it alot and i would highly recommend giving this amazing product a try its truly the best product ever.

I bought this back in September 2022 and kept it in the box since it was a Christmas gift for my kids. I just tried to use it for the first time since it is winter here and the demand for shaved ice from the kids has not been a thing until today and lo an behold it will not turn on and will not work! I did all the trouble shooting and nothing works. I truly hope that the warranty is honored and this gets replaced since now I see it is a sold out item. Truly disappointed and hope this can be resolved :(

My whole family loves having shaved ice every day when we come home from work, and on our days off, too! It’s so soft and fluffy! It’s essentially chewable ice. Thank you, Dash! I can’t say enough good things about this little machine and this brand!

All you do is add ice and seconds later you are ready to make your favorite shaved ice treat. Just make sure you have plenty of ice around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this little shaved ice maker. It is super easy to use right out of the box. You put the ice in the bowl and turn the lid and let it do its thing. The instructions are easy to follow about how to take it apart and clean it. Just watch out for the blade underneath the bowl as it is kind of exposed. So, I tried out both cubed ice and crushed ice. Both of them turned out fine but the crushed ice did give a bit fluffier, more snow cone like texture which is what I prefer. I'm definitely impressed with this machine. Highly recommend!

We’ve made everything from slushy margaritas to snow cones for the kids. The kids even love eating just the plain shaved ice to cook off on hot summer days. It is easy to use and clean and stores easily on our standard kitchen shelving. SO glad we got this ice shaver!
