We are easy to please, but this rice/beans combo was absolutely terrible. Rice had an awful smell/flavor, and beans were flavorless - no better than any of the canned refried beans you can find at any grocery store. They were so bad, we returned the remaining pouches to the store.

These are the best rice and beans. I occasionally buy as this is a real treat for my family. I'm able to heat these products with no problems at all. My microwave is a 1500 watt so I don't know if that's the difference. I have never thought either product was dry in any way. I simply follow the directions and voila!

We like these, and they are really handy, but squeezing hot beans out of the bag the first time was really messy and potentially dangerous. Now I transfer both the rice and beans to microwave-safe bowls, cover and heat.

These were great! Came with 2 packs of each, enough for sides for two nights of dinners. Rice was flavorful & beans were so yummy! Kids loved them too

I highly suggest you save your money. I really wanted to like each of these because of the convenience factor, but both were absolutely disgusting. I couldn't even doctor them up to satisfactory. Smell & tasted like dog food! In my opinion, it's really hard to mess up Mexican Food, then I tasted these & felt compelled to write a review to warn others.
