Something durable that won't rip half way through use. You want it to be as soft as a pillow, to prevent any tiny paper cuts. But you also want a reasonably priced toilet paper. We've gone through all the brands, practically. And yes, we liked more than others. Sure Charmin is cool but am I really going to pay that much for toilet paper? Do I get a bear for free? No? Count me out. Angel soft, isn't so soft. We were all out of our usual toilet paper brand, and so we decided to pick up some quilted northern. Hallelujah!! The ultra plush is too die for and is just as durable! We've been loyal fans to our quilted northern. We have not even thought about going back to our old brand or switching to another, this one is exactly what we're looking for and then some. Quality toilet paper. #TPQUEEN

I always buy the Ultra Quilted Northern - Always in the biggest bundle I can find. This time the rolls are falling apart. The tube part. So far it has been every roll in the pack. I just wanted to call that out. It will not deter me from buying again but it is just not the quality i am used to.

What the heck happened?? I've been a Quilted Northern Ultra Plush user for years. Last year, the very end of the roll (connecting to the cardboard tube) was consistently jacked up and wanky, like a 3-year old attached it. Not a problem....just weird. But this last package?? Apparently no one is monitoring quality control anymore. Every single roll in this last pack completely disintegrated while using it, (sorry...TMI) leaving TP fluff stuck up in my butt every time...sometimes lots of it! Soft? Yes. Strong? No. Will I buy again? Not until QC comes back from vacation.

A few years ago I switched from Charmin to Northern because Charmin's price went up and the quality went down. Now I find myself in the same situation with your product. It's supposed to be 3 ply but the plies are so thin and ineffective that you have to use twice is much. So now, I will switch to another more effective brand, again.

I feel like their toilet paper is always extra soft and last longer than most other toilet paper brands. I love that this toilet paper is ultra plush which is perfect for my toddler who is potty training.

I have bought Northern Ultra Plush for years. It was quilted and very soft. Even though it cost more, it was worth it for the quality. I was disappointed when they discontinued the double rolls and had to look elsewhere for something to fit. I recently came back to this and expected it to be the same - not even close. Yes there are 3 layers but you will be hard pressed to find them they are so thin. This is no longer quilted and it's not that soft. Many other brands are nicer at only 2-ply. The new narrower size doesn't even cover my hand. This is just sad.

I have been buying quilted northern for a long time. I decided to give the plush version a try. It is really soft but it’s a white mess. I get little white fuzz all over the place using it and I stead of 2 ply it’s 1 and 1/2. The rolls have been one layer flat and the under layer folded in half so the toilet paper isn’t as effective. I have to say I’m pretty disappointed.

It is soft and thick enough it doesn't break. It doesn't crumble and most importantly my entire family loves it.
