[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I admit that I have always been a "sale" shopper when it comes to toilet tissue and typically have 2 or 3 brands at my home at any give time. However, my 5 year old granddaughter changed my ways. On a recent visit to my home she required "assistance" with the toilet tissue. When I started to roll it off the roll she told me "That's not the right one." We had quite the discussion during which she told me she wanted the one with the "squares". I looked and pulled out a roll of quilted northern ultra plush and she said "Yes, Memama, that's the soft one.". I put the two side by side and discovered that it is indeed softer. This Memama is a convert. My sweet granddaughter will always have Quilted Northern when she comes to my home!

They were out of the Sams club brand so we bought this brand and thought with the brand name it'd be better quality than other generic brands. Well, we were wrong. It's thinner than paper thin and breaks apart easily and as you wipe it pieces get stuck to you. I developed a rash everytime I used it and went back to Sam's Club brand and the rash went away and went back to using quilted northern again and the rash came back. Will not be using this product again. Name brand isn't always better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another brand was on sale so I bought it. I was not happy at all with it and could not wait until the package was gone. Once gone I of course purchased a package of the quilted ultra. I actually prefer the ultra as it is softer and as a woman who well, has to use TP at every bathroom trip. Soft TP is the preferred kind. I get the larger roll and I love how it last a lot longer. Overall, I really do enjoy this brand of TP.

I have used other brands but they are not as soft and gentle as Quilter Northern Ultra Plush Paper. I really like the feel the thickness and the durability of this paper. It really holds up under pressure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product, it is soft and strong. I would buy this again. The only problem I had is that it's not perforated good, so it doesn't tear off evenly. I would highly recommend this product. It was also a very good value.

I am usually a fan of Northern, so was excited when I saw they have a 3-ply tissue. What a disappointment! Three CUSHIONY layers? It does have three layers, but extra thin tissue paper used for gift boxes is thicker than each of the layers. I compared it to other leading brands two ply tissue and they were thicker with just two layers. Northern's 2 ply is just as good, so don't think you are getting a superior product with their 3-ply tissue, but Northern's 2 ply tissue has 328 sheets per Mega roll where the 3 ply has only 255 on a Mega roll, so you actually get less tissue with the 3 ply. Stick with the 2 ply, it's better value for your money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was little, I got picked on at school. I would walk home about a quarter mile, and by the time I got home, I was a sobbing mess. My mother would help me take of my back pack, sit me down on the couch, then go into the bathroom. She would come back out with a brand new Quilted Northern toilet paper roll, hand it to me, and simply say, "tell me about it". Sometimes I would sit there, unable to speak; only able to unroll the first few soft, beautifully-designed squares. They were the first bit of comfort I was able to accept, until my emotions calmed down, and I was ready for my mother's words. On a near-weekly basis, my mother would have words of comfort, reassurance, and love for me. My experience with toilet paper, specifically Quilted Northern, goes way back to those elementary days that were both the worst, and ultimately most memorable of my childhood. All the bullying could have torn me apart, ruining me for life. Thank heavens for a mother like mine, and a simple roll of toilet paper. Quilted Northern dried my tears, unstuffed my nose, and is still my go-to tissue to this day when I wipe my own daughter's tears. Who knew that something we take for granted every day, like toilet paper, could remind me of such a tender memory.

I bought this instead of our usual Charmin ultra soft. It said 3 ply so must be close enough, right? No, this was a waste of money. VERY thin and then checked the weight of a roll between Northern and the Charmin that I had at home,very light in comparison. NOT GOOD

We have used Northern Quilted Toilet Paper for a long time. To see that the makers stay up with the times is wonderful!!! The plush comfort is so refreshing. I grew up using newspaper in an outside toilet in TN!!! To be able to feel the softness and gentleness of this silky, soft product is such a relief and a luxurious comfort to any female!!! Thank you Northern!!!
