It isn't too plushy and soft which is perfect for me, and it doesn't make me sweaty at night. The craftsmanship is amazing on this mattress, I love the designs sewn into it. After laying on it for roughly an hour the bed still felt cool and comfortable! It provides just enough softness on the surface with a consistent underlying firmness that supports a variety of sleeping positions (we are a back/side sleeper and a side/stomach sleeper). My back is less sore when I wake up in the mornings. Motion isolation is much better than our previous mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Beautyrest Black is overall a great mattress. It looks incredibly glamorous! It’s very well made and provides great support despite only being of medium firmness. Neither of us has had a sweaty night since we got it despite the 100• temperatures we’re having right now. The one complaint is the way the pillow top is designed. Instead of being the same thickness to the edge of the mattress, it gently slopes down to mattress height. Both my partner and I have felt like we were falling off the bed because of this. Overall, the mattress is great but I wouldn’t buy one simply because of the way it feels like you’re falling off the mattress when you get onto the outer six inches of the mattress.

It's firm but has cushion at the same time, it's super thick, feels like it is made of premium materials, keeps me warm or cool when I need it, and overall gives me the most incredible sleep I've ever experienced.

Very comfortable and best sleep I have had in along time, we have had it 9 days and it feels like it is dipping into the middle now even when lying near the edge of the mattress it tends to roll you inwards. Hopefully we don’t have to take advantage of the 120 sleep trial because I really like the mattress but will not be able to handle rolling into the middle every night

If you use box spring , it will be a little bit tall. Really comfy to sleep on- doesn’t sink down and cause back pain like other mattress. Plan to buy one more for my son bed
