Recently purchased my second windmill AC—bought the 1st last summer and it was great, so we got a second one once our old one conked out. Had a taskrabbit install since they hang over the street, but it literally took 10-15 minutes to install. They’re pretty quiet, look really sleek, and cool our rooms quite quickly. Interested to see how long these guys last! Hopefully a long time.

Customer service is excellent. Even though my warranty was expired, I was shipped a new air conditioner. The previous one was only used for two months, and the compressor was gone. Due to several hours of trying to troubleshoot, windmill decided to send me a new one. I appreciate that more than you know.

I love it! Especially that the air is blown upwards so i don't always catch a chill when using it! I l also love the eco settings that allow it to automatically switch to fan at times to save energy!! I love that i can program it on my phone so i don't have to get up out of bed to switch it on or off! And i love that the refrigerant that is used is more eco friendly than others! I'm telling all my friends about this unit!

My Windmill Air Whisper Quiet AC was performing beautifully but developed a problem. When I reached out to the company I experienced what might be the best customer service I’ve ever had. After troubleshooting the issue with me, and with consistent and engaged communications, the representative decided that the results warranted a new unit. It arrived almost immediately, at no charge to me. And the replacement unit is performing at its peak! I categorically recommend the product and the company. It’s refreshing to be treated so well, and refreshing that a product lives up to its hype. Buy from Windmill, you wont regret it.

The air filters out so evenly and cools the entire room. Definitely a plus for when your window is higher and allows for the air to filter out installation was a bit tricky but our window frames are really old so just be mindful of the wood. Otherwise it's amazing and worth every cent.

I love my Windmill products!! The customer support team at Windmill has been so supportive + helpful!! My AC unit was delivered, then stolen from my building. It was terrible! But they were really helpful throughout the process. The unit itself is insanely quiet, like it’s not even on + it’s keeping my apt cool during our first heatwave in NYC. I love that I can control the settings of the AC unit + oscillating fan thru their app! 2 HOT TIPS: Purchase the Onward shipping protection, it was a lifesaver! And purchase the plexiglass option for installation, I didn’t + regret it!

We’ve had our Windmill AC for 2-3 weeks and so far we are very happy with the purchase. Windmill does live up to its reputation for the sleek design and is very quiet. Installation was easy but we couldn’t fasten the side panels into our window frames because we have metal window frames (this happens with all ACs we purchased before so not a Windmill specific problem).

So easy to install & easy to use! Love the fact that there’s an Eco mode (which I’ve been using most often). Didn’t think I’d enjoy having yet another app on my phone but it’s actually so user friendly and I’m enjoying the fact that I can control the AC from a different room. Cools down my 600 sq ft. space perfectly and does not sound overwhelmingly loud like other window AC’s!

This is a great AC - beautiful inside and out (my window is first floor street facing, so nice bonus that it looks good on the outside.) I live in a small apartment, so I particularly like that the AC vents upwards, and isn't blowing on me directly in a small room. The interface takes a beat to get used to, since it's not as basic as a basic AC, but the app is a bonus and love that the LED light turns off.

I'm impressed with the power of this unit. It replaced a very no-name department store air conditioner of supposedly similar power, but this new one is a beast. I live in a very small, old, one storey home, so we just use two window units to cool the place. It's noticeably more comfortable and quieter than the old unit. I am actually able to set the thermostat on it to 74 instead of 68.
