The AC is smaller and neater than my previous one and somewhat quieter. It cools well, but I wonder what my electric bill will look like.

It’s magical. It’s quiet it looks nice and there’s an app so we can turn it on before we go to bed to start cooling the room down!

Thus ac is a replacement from Windmill. It has not been installed because it's still cold in Chicago. I appreciate Windmill for the replacement after my first unit malfunctioned. They reached out to me after my review and offered a replacement even after my warranty had lapsed. I will give a review when it heats up here. Thank you Windmill

We love our Windmill A/Cs! They are so quiet and efficient, and more attractive than any other window unit I’ve ever seen. We had 2 units for over a year— and one stopped working. Windmills customer service was excellent! They quickly shipped us a new unit free of charge, even after our warranty was expired!

The machine works wonderfully, it cools down my larger living room/dining room so well! However the "ease of install" is a bit deceptive for those of us in older homes. I didn't realize that I'd need to have extra pieces of wood to prop it in my windows UNTIL I opened the box and saw I was being directed to the support site for additional install instructions as I have storm windows. Along with needing to find small wood pieces to prop the front of the machine, the side panels left some gaping holes in the window from. Which, honestly, is fine as I'm used to having to add in some tape on other air conditioners. The unit works so well that I'm totally fine to overlook this, but having that information more upfront on the website would have left me more prepared.

My brother and I were ready to install it and had all these extra tools and stuff prepared and couldn’t believe how quickly it went, and also that we didn’t need any extra tools! Pre-assembled accordion sides is a time saver and game changer. Taking off one star bc despite being WhisperTech, it’s really quite noisy during the cooldown phase after the desired temp is reached and the compressor turns off.

I love my new Windmill AC, especially being able to check my apartment's temperature while I'm at work and adjust the thermostat remotely so things are cool by the time my young family gets home. Even after I had problems with a few things, the support team was absolutely incredible and super responsive to all my needs. I felt very well taken care of, and I'm so thrilled that I tried out this new company!

I bought the larger one for my living room and the smaller one for the bedroom. They both look and work amazing. Set up was super easy and I love that I can control it from my phone. I also bought the teal color cover as it matches my color theme in my bedroom. It's definitely more quiet then conventional air conditioners. It hasn't been too hot her in CT but the few times I have used them it cooled things down quickly. The only thing I cant figure out is where and how to install the carbon filter. I scan the QR code on the filter and it doesn't take me to instructions for installation, it takes me to an order form to order more.

Overall this is a fairly nice AC unit for the price point—it looks better in my room and is quieter, than many AC units. However, the temperature gauge—which measures the ambient air temperature in the room—is often incorrect. This is a problem because it means that it thinks the room cooler than it is and won’t turn on. I reached out to Windmill about this issue and they responded acknowledging the issue and basically suggesting I try and mess with the temperature gauge myself, by insulating it, to fix the issue. Not impressed that they are selling an AC unit that they know has this issue.

Absolutely love. I live in northern New England where up until the past few years you really didn't need AC. I decided to upgrade my dinky window box to Windmill and I am so impressed. I left the house to go run errands after installing and when I walked in thought the AC had actually stopped because it was so quiet. Going to purchase a second one for my bedroom as we speak.
