I bought an AC last summer. It was working fine for the summer. It was getting hot in Spring 2025. I started up the unit and it was making weird sound and stopped working. The unit made noise, so I knew the compressor was working but no fan noise. I contacted Windmill customer service. They had me go through a few tests on the unit and they told me that the unit is defective. They shipped a replacement immediately and I received it within a week.That was June 2025. Now it is mid Aug, 2025 and it is going well. We had very hot July in Chicago area. I am happy with how Windmill CS helped me out.

The customer service of this company is amazing. Sometimes. You take chances with smaller companies. And I’m so glad I took the chance with them. My room is ice cold and it’s amazingly quiet. I have the whispertech and it makes its promise. Any questions you have. They get back to you right away. Like. Right away. Maybe an hour response time. I love the product. I love the service. This AC is sleek and effective. We have two of them and they cool the whole apartment. When one of them malfunctioned gathering ice inside, we reached out to customer service and they resolved the issue immediately by sending a replacement! The new one is working great!

Recently had trouble with my 8000 icing up. Contacted Windmill service and they were very helpful. Gave me some ideas to try to fix the problem., none worked. They decided to replace my unit even though it was out of warranty. Cannot say enough good things about this company and its products.

This air conditioner is heavy ( for me ) but mighty. Pretty quiet and worth the cash. Controlled with top panel, remote control and Bluetooth! This is in my bedroom which face West. Total afternoon sun and it is blazing in that bedroom. Controlled from my phone, I switch it on 45 mins before I go upstairs. Room is very comfortable and cool, my dog is waiting to get in and relax in the lovely breeze. Me too!!!

We had originally ordered two Windmill 8,000 BTU units and one was great but the other rattled and was quite noisy. We were disappointed since one of the selling points of Windmill is that they are quieter than most. Customer service worked with us to trouble shoot but nothing helped. They then sent us a second unit in a very timely manner, and with no hassle. I would recommend this product and company to anyone without reservation!!

I love my new Windmill AC. It cools my living room quickly and quietly but without that artificial iciness that most ACs put out. The air feels natural. The design is modern and low-profile and isn't an eyesore like traditional ACs. Since hotter summers are our new normal, I'm glad to have some relief to come home to!

Windmill 8k WhisperTech is super easy to set up thanks to a step-by-step detailed graphic instruction booklet. Extremely quiet delivering a minimum of white noise and uniquely jets the air upward into the room. Controls are intuitive. And it is beautiful to look at and effortlessly compliments the room. I highly recommend this unit.
