We ordered 2 units and one came making a weird noise the other wasn’t making so we reached out to customer service about the noise and after doing some trouble shooting it was determined we needed a new unit. They were speedy at replacing the unit at no extra cost to us. We will certainly be back for any future needs we may have!

I had an issue with my original purchase and one day the device stopped working on me. It just started blowing hot air during a heat wave. The product was only purchased less than a year and I was very disappointed. Out of all days, it stopped working during a heat wave. Nevertheless, as I reached out to windmill customer support they were able to expedite and resolve the issue immediately. Thank you for resolving my issue and saving me from this summer heat.

I've been telling everyone how happy I am with my Windmill AC. It is such a thoughtfully-designed product: energy efficient, whisper-quiet operation, visually appealing. I also love the fact that the cold air blows up at a 45-degree angle and can't believe every air conditioner doesn't offer this feature. It was worth every penny. The company's customer service is also terrific.

I’m new to NYC so the summers here are brutal! I was looking into AC units this summer and a AD for Windmill popped up! I was intrigued with the sleek design but mostly the QUIET feature. I live by the train so that in itself is already loud, I didn’t want my AC unit to add to the noise. All in all I can say that Windmill is VERY quiet even tho I love that it’s silent I came to find that the best feature is the WiFi/app connection. Now, when I’m 30 min away from home I can turn on my AC from the app on my phone and arrive to a cooled home!!! Game changer! Definitely worth the investment for my situation.

we have installed three windmill a/c units. they are easy to install, effective, and attractive. one of the windmills did not work properly. Windmill replaced it for a new one very quickly without making me return the old one which was nice (although it did cost me $10 to recycle at the town dump.) very pleased with windmill.

I can’t say enough this company has great customer service. A/C stopped working I emailed them on a Saturday and Skye emailed me back within 20 minutes, we went through all the steps to find out what was wrong with the system. When they reviewed everything they found it was the unit that was not working they sent us a new unit awesome was not expecting that at all. Very thankful because the east coast was getting a heatwave.

I bought the A/C based on the Wirecutter review. My unit had issues. I sent video to the most excellent Windmill Customer service. The response time was amazing and my new unit is ready to be installed! I’m very happy to deal with a company that is proud to back their products! Thanks to the windmill team!

I bought one of the small units for a bedroom we use as a television and entertainment room. It cools the room perfectly and is quiet enough for us to enjoy television in the same room. So I purchased a second unit for our master bedroom to replace an older floor standing unit, and it has been a better solution for us in that room too. Great little AC, easy to install and easy to control from app on phone.

TLDR: Our brand new AC never worked, I had a frustrating experience initially with customer support, but I did get a replacement AC eventually and that works. We bought a 8K BTU Windmill AC on Amazon. We got it installed two weeks back. Then in last week’s heat wave, we turned it on and it did not work. Must have had a bad compressor. I reached out to Support on the site’s chat and they assured me they would prioritize sending and installing a replacement because of the heatwave. I also emailed Support and they too assured me that they would reach put regarding the replacement. I didn’t hear anything for a day. Followed up, and still didn’t hear anything. Basically I was ghosted. Then I got an email saying they will send a new one, but not install. I had had to pay a lot of money for the installation. So I sent them the promise I had got that it will also be installed. Then I was ghosted. Finally I sent a stern email saying they could refund me the money for installation and just send the new AC. Then I finally got a response. They sent a replacement and gave me an Amazon gift card for the installation. It arrived quickly (via Fedex) and it was installed and this one works. It looks great. I was very frustrated last week because I was left stranded AC-less during a heat wave and was just plain ghosted. But, the company stands by its warranty and sent a replacement. I am impressed by that and grateful. Thanks to Maggie who responded and took care of everything. I understand that machines don’t always work but a company that stands by its products deserves appreciation.

Purchased one from Best Buy. It’s didn’t work and due Best Buy’s ridiculous return policy I had to contact the Windmill consumer service. Excellent customer service and they took care of everything. Sent out a new unit and I couldn’t be happier. Purchased another unit for my house. Great product and super easy installation .
