[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had purchased the orginal Tempur-pedic 15 years ago. It was time to get a new one but there were so many options. My husband is a stomach sleeper so the only choice was the Pro-Adapt Firm. I was nervous it would be TOO Firm and not my comfy Tempur-pedic I had grown to love. We went to the store just so we could try everything thing out to be sure. We are 30 days in and I love it. Well, we BOTH love it. We got the adjustable base as well and I think everynight I say to my husband...I LOVE OUR BED!!

I switched from 1 brand new mattress to this, thinking it would be great for a side sleeper as well as being cooler, I was wrong. It still 100 degrees and have to toss and turn as it is very stiff. Feels more like an extra firm mattress than medium. I am hoping it will get softer, but right now it is like sleeping on cement.

This replaces our old Tempurpedic which was firm and original product. I have herniated discs in my lower back and my sleep has improved by at lest 75% since getting our new mattress. I can't expect a mattress to fix my back but it has fixed my sleep. I'm very happy.

We got the firm split king with adjustable base based on recommendations of back dr and Physical therapist. It felt great in the store ( after hundreds had tried it out) and I was warned it would take some time to break in, so I'm trying to be patient. It is getting better and I have high hopes. The two big problems is the bottom sheet constantly pulling out and never being really tight while sleeping. The second is making the bed! It's near impossible to make it tight . The corners stay put but the middle never stays that way. I added a very good mattress pad and it helps some. I have ordered QuickZip sheets because changing the sheets weekly is just way to difficult as we are older. Hopefully that will make a big difference and waiting for the shipment to arrive. I'm looking forward to the bed getting more comfortable.

Bought this bed with high hopes, unfortunately after sleeping on it for 5 months I absolutely hate it. I wake up every morning and feel like I was punched all over. I had some back pain a year ago that finally went away, after sleeping on this bed at first all the pain came back and had to start physical therapy again. I hate this mattress.

This is the 3rd one I've had over many yrs. The last one lasted 10yrs and was still ok, but started to get little too soft. I like a very firm one. My first one was when I had back surgery and it "saved" my life. My back pain was excruciating, but minute I hit that bed, it was gone all night. It takes a few weeks, maybe a month or so to "break it in".. so I liked the firm one which is very firm, but after a couple weeks it settled in to my body. Now it's great. I'd strongly recommend you find a Temper-Pedic factory to try them out. They have a 90 day exchange policy, so you can use it for 90 days, and during that time you can exchange for a different one if you like. Highly recommend.

Our previous Tempur-pedic was 20 years old plus and definitely needed to be replaced. This time we bought a split king with an adjustable base because we both need to raise our heads and my husband needs to raise his feet a little also. The ProAdapt soft mattress has proved to be very comfortable for both of us whether we sleep on our side or our back. We both have different types of back issues and I have problems with sciatic nerve so the comfort of this mattress is extremely important to us and we just love it. I can only think of one negative issue and that's it can be difficult to change the sheets.

I bet 90% of my aches and pains have diminished or disappeared completely since owning my Tempurpedic. I am amazed and so glad I was able to find a mattress that does what it's suppose to. I have owned numerous mattresses in my day but this will be my forever mattress now. They are pricey but if it works for you then worth every penny!

Bottom line: it's super comfortable, but sleeps a little hot I tried so many mattresses and even purchased a different brand mattress that felt comfortable in the store, but when I slept on it at home it hurt my hips when I slept on my side, so I returned it. Even a medium or plush mattress felt too firm. Then I tried the ProAdapt Soft and I loved it, but kept looking elsewhere since I hadn't planned to spend that much. After trying many more mattresses, I eventually made the right decision and invested in the ProAdapt Soft. It is so comfortable! I truly love it. I am mostly a side sleeper but with this mattress I don't feel any discomfort on my hips or other pressure points. I had also read that being a lighter-weight female might be why so many other beds felt too firm, because I wasn't really sinking into them. With this mattress, that is not a problem at all. The one thing I don't like about this mattress is that I started sleeping much hotter. It has gotten better as I've gotten used to it and only bothers me sometimes now. That said, if I had the money, I would probably upgrade to one of the cooling models. But I am still extremely happy with my purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On my new firm tempurpedic mattress I've had he best sleep I've had in years. I sleep through the night, and feel supported at every point. It's been especially helpful because of a recent back injury. I can't think of any drawbacks honestly. It's expensive, but good sleep is worth it. We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping, so it's worth the investment in yourself. I wake up more refreshed and energized than i have in years of sleeping on my old mattress.
