This is a firm mattress. My husband was ready to return next day. He is a big man so this was a computerized fit for him. I reminded him you have to give it an adjusting period. In the past he has had pain. I have not heard any complaints about his hip or back. I am able to sleep peacefully without him waking me through out the night. Max our salesman took time with us and answered our questions. He was knowledgeable about the products he sells.

We have had our new Pro-adapt hybrid mattress for about a month. It is unbelievable how much better our bodies feel when we wake up each day. The mattress is very comfortable and we do not wake up in the middle of the night as we did often with our old mattress. The mattress is somewhat expensive but well worth it if you want to feel better each day!

Yepper, I love the firmness of this mattress. However, my wife doesn't. We both think it is way too heavy. Making up the bed requires both of us to lift the mattress--our combined age is greater than 150. We've only been sleeping on it for a month now, way too early to say I would or would not recommend this mattress, even though such a determination is required by this review website.

We bought this mattress in August 2020 and so far we like it. We like the way it sleeps cool and conforms to help with pressure points. I would have given it a 5 star but it is still new and we are "breaking" it in. I have been told it will get softer in time, and I hope this is true. I don't wake up sore or hurting anywhere, and it gives good support too. I have no complaints and would recommend this mattress.

So comfortable, just firm enough to support your body. This is the second Pro Adapt I have bought in a year. We have two homes and this makes the fourth Tempurpedic I have bought in nineteen years. My hip pain went away after purchasing my first Pro Adapt last year. Will never purchase another type mattress.

The mattress felt very firm from the start. It is not softening nearly as much as I want - it's still not like the showroom mattress or the two different soft tempur pedic mattresses I've slept on in the past. I'm 3 1/2 weeks in to the 'break in' period and I hope it improves soon. I'm disappointed - I was really looking forward to a great experience.

This is our second temper-pedic mattress. The first mattress we purchased several years ago is now used in our guest bedroom. For some unknown reason, we (wife and I) convinced our self to replace the master bed mattress with a competitors product (air mattress). We had purchased extra bed sheets and even though we never open the package the dealer would not give a reimbursement after 90 days. This was 3-years ago. Big mistake! We had enough sleepless nights and decided to revisit a temper-pedic dealer. Don't we swayed so take my advise and stick with what you know and trust. Purchased ours on 10/31/2020 so I wanted to wait a while to see how we liked the mattress. After almost 3 months we are both pleased with our purchase. We paid more for this mattress than we had ever before but the extra $$'s were worth it. Our back and neck pain have eased. I don't find myself waking up as many times a night. For years I've only been able to fall asleep on my side but with the TEMPUR-ProAdapt I find myself falling asleep on my back after only a few minutes. We bought the firm model and it took a few nights to get used to it but now as it slowly conforms to your body shape it seems to support you all over. All in all I can say it's the best mattress we've ever purchased.

We are still breaking it in but I will say it is the most comfortable mattress we have ever owned. We did trade out the box springs for the smaller version because of height issues. We wished the box springs came in a small, medium, or large. We would have preferred a medium height. Still we are enjoying great sleep.

It took me about 30 days to adjust to this, mattress. But now that I have I would not give it up. It is so comfortable, that I now sleep all night. Where before I would wake up 2 or 3 times a night, being very uncomfortable. My back was hurting so much, I no longer have back aches after sleeping all night.
