Ok, so, we kept our previous Serta Pillow top mattress for 20 years, rotating it twice a year, flipping it over, and top to bottom. It was old but it still felt good. We recently decided to get a new mattress and chose the TEMPUR-ProAdapt™ Medium Hybrid. All we can say is "WOW" ! We didn't realize how much mattress technology has advanced. We have been sleeping so much better than we were, if you have an older mattress then you owe it to yourself to check out the new mattresses, you won't believe the difference.

I have spinal stenosis and decided to get the best matress available .The assessment at the store recomendded a Medium matress, however, I choose to get the firm one. It is not confortable . Too hard . I will exchange for a soft one. The product is good and the adjustable base gives you good options to sleep.

This mattress is extremely comfortable. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have noticed a significant change in my sleeping patterns I no longer wake up several times a night in pain. Since it conforms to my body my entire back is supported and along with the pillow I no longer have neck pain.

The first couple of nights took some getting used to, but after that it was great. Very good temperature, very firm but adjusts to one's body shape. Best sleep in years and my wife's snoring is way down. It was easily twice the price of the next mattress but it is worth it. I added four KS foam pillows to go with it. Very comfortable.

I've suffered back pain due to bad mattress and pillow. The firm Tempur pedic mattress is the only mattress that helped ease the pain and offered a good night sleep. My other half loves it just as must as I do. I love the fact that is contour to my every move without that sinking feeling from most foam mattress. It's pricey but we'll worth the money.

I needed a new mattress. I purchased the Tempur-Pro Adapt Firm. Long story short. No more back pain. sleeping like a baby. Do yourself a favor get this mattress if you have lower back pain. I could not believe that changing my mattress would change my life. Get the base also. It is worth every penny. Sleep comfort is so important. Run and get this mattress. You will not regret it.

This is my 2nd tempur pedic. 11 years ago I bought a firm classic twin, & it was the first mattress I could sleep on that I never had any pain. For 11 years I used that mattress, & slowly saved up for a new one. I recently bought an adapt medium twin, but it was too soft & gave me pain. So I exchanged it for a firm pro adapt twin, & know that it will serve me well as did my first tempur pedic twin. I will have this one for a long time to come. Thank you for providing such a good product, especially for people with back issues. I only wish it were not so expensive.

My husband and I purchased a Tempurpedic Mattress and box springs 9+ years ago. Recently we started having problems with the mattress sagging. I called the company and they couldn't have been better! Their service was extraordinary! They far exceeded my expectations! Everything they said and did was perfect! I am so excited to have found truly great service in today's world! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this mattress because I wanted a soft mattress since I am a side sleeper. I find the mattress very comfortable for my shoulders and hips. The mattress slowly conforms to your body shape once you lay on it. Unfortunately, I still find the mattress to be warm. After a few hours of sleeping, I find that I need to kick off my covers due to the build up of heat in the bed. So much for a good night of sleep. I was hoping the cover of the ProAdapt they advertise so well as being cooling would be enough to keep me cool throughout the night but I did not find that to be the case. This is a good mattress is you want a soft bed but you get warm, this is not the bed for you.

I am a previous owner of a Tempurpedic mattress for 25 years. It was time to upgrade to a new one, so I purchased a Tempur-ProAdapt Medium mattress together with their ProSmart bed base 10 months ago from the Tempurpedic website. The mattress is somewhat comparable to my 25-year-old Tempurpedic mattress but took some time to get use to how much lighter the mattress is and the dimensions of it. Which brings me to this review. I thought a buyer should know that the measurements of the mattresses sold are not 60 x 80. My mattress is 58 X 78 (2 whole inches less) than a typical standard queen size mattress. Their website does have a caveat stating the sizes are approximate, but the two-inch difference in size does cause issues with my fitted bottom sheets bunching nightly because they do not fit tightly on the mattress. I then bought sheets from the Tempurpedic website because they supposedly were designed for their beds and have straps on them to keep them in place but unfortunately, they also bunch up. I mistakenly bought three sets from Tempuredic thinking they would work better for their mattresses, but they do not. In fact, after opening up and using just one set, the other two are sitting in my linen closet unopened. I absolutely love their smart base and highly recommend it. Overall, the Pro-Adapt mattress took some getting used to it since it is built differently from the one I bought 25 years ago, but I still wouldn't trade it for a traditional mattress. The bunching of the bottom sheet during the night is a real nuisance though.
