The pro adapt doesn't cool quite like I thought it would. The mattress cover itself is very slick and you tend to slide around a lot when trying to get comfortable. I have the "soft" mode and wouldn't consider it to be soft, it's medium at best. There are more than likely cheaper options out there with equal comfort levels.

This is our first experience with pro adapt firm which we liked immediately when we we went to store to try it out. We previously had a tempur pedic for 10 years. We have only had our pro adapt for a couple weeks and I am concerned that the firmness isn't as good as when we first purchased it. I plan to contact tempura pedic to see what they think may be the issue. We also purchased the adjustable foundation. We love tempura pedic due to injuries to my husband which helps him sleep better. We have recommended these mistresses to all our friends.

I had bought inexpensive mattresses and they were too soft, or too firm, or had springs right in my ribs. I could not believe the difference the TempurPedic made. Our previous Tempur-pedic was 20 years old plus and definitely needed to be replaced. This time we bought a split king with an adjustable base because we both need to raise our heads and my husband needs to raise his feet a little also. The ProAdapt soft mattress has proved to be very comfortable for both of us whether we sleep on our side or our back. We both have different types of back issues and I have problems with sciatic nerve so the comfort of this mattress is extremely important to us and we just love it. I can only think of one negative issue and that's it can be difficult to change the sheets.

So we went back to our old faithful Tempurpedic and couldn't be happier!

We thought by now, we'd either love it or hate it. However, we have some good nights sleep and others where the firm mattress is "too" hard. We may end up switching it for the medium; we didn't think it would take this long to make a decision - - still not sure it's for us.

There are no words to describe how much more comfortable our bed feels. My wife and I sleep solidly through the night and wake up feeling refreshed and pain free. Just the feeling of crawling into bed at night and crawling out in the morning is magical. We are amazed at how our new mattress has improved the overall quality of life. We were skeptical about buying it at first because it was expensive but now having slept on it for a couple of weeks we have absolutely no regrets, it is worth every penny!!!!!

These mattresses are very hard. It feel like you falling off if you sleep towards the edge. These mattresses doesn't form to your body when you move. Even after buying a foam topping for it, it is still hard. I had a king size Tempur-Pedic for 12 years prior to this these. We really love the Tempur-Pedic mattress. I gave it a 2 do to the hardness and not conforming to the body when moving. Just have to get a softer mattresses.
