Really do not recommend this product at all. Everyone wants to say there is a break in period but nobody is listening to the actual issue. My house is set at 65 due to having asthma and require it to be colder and the mattress is still SOFT. The mattress sinks thru the supportive layers down to the Hard Density foam causing it to feel as your sleeping on concrete. Now the Tempur-pedic website advertises this 13 inch mattress with layers of conforming comfort with a 9cm comfort layer that Comfort Layer - 9cm that conforms to your body to soothe and relax. Then there is a 3cm support layer which includes the pressure relief of APR Material, plus 30% more ultra-conforming comfort. Now convert the 13 inches to cm and you get 33.02 and that means there is only 12cm (4.72 inches) of foam before you are laying on the High Density Foam. Not enough supportive foam to sleep on and not wake up in pain the next morning. I have done this for over a week now in which the store nor Tempur-pedic wants to replace the mattress for a defect. I have laid on my side and my back however my back, neck, and shoulder, consistently hurt. For the price and the competitive brands out there my expectations were a lot higher from this mattress. Now I'm out the money for this mattress and still had to spend more money for another mattress. Extremely disappointed.

My husband and I were initially very hesitant to spend so much on a mattress but after trying out the luxe adapt, there was really no question. It was hands down the most superior bed we tried (and we tried out many different options). Noticeably softer and higher quality, we pulled the trigger and haven't looked back. In the month that we've had it, we've had the best sleep of our lives! We both now very much enjoy going to bed and the mornings are always difficult because we just don't want to get up. This mattress is truly worth every penny, highly recommend!

I've never had such great sleep before. There are two things I immediately noticed over this past week of sleep: 1. It alleviates pressure points! Before, I would constantly toss and turn because one side would get tired of being laid on, and it was time to flip. Now, I can easily lay on one side most of the night because I no longer get that need-to-turn feeling. It's the GREATEST. 2. I've been waking up on my back!! This came as a huge surprise. As a major side sleeper, I've never slept on my back. But this past week, I've fallen asleep on my back quite a few times because it's actually comfortable for the first time! The decision between the Soft or Firm style was a tough one. I went to a local retailer to feel the bed in person since this is a high-consideration purchase, and I ultimately decided on Soft. Honestly you can't go wrong with either, they're both COMFY! The soft is extremely soft, and it feels like you're floating on a cloud. You just sink right in. If you're looking for more of a firm-soft, the Firm style will be the one for you. I would absolutely recommend this bed!

I'm sleeping through the night! I wake up in the same position with my new Tempurpedic mattress. The Tempur-LuxeAdapt soft mattress just holds me perfectly that I do feel weightless, and drift right away into sleep. It's perfect for me sleeping on my side or back. I've had it for nearly a month & the 30 day breaking-in period has past, just as the salesperson told me it would after coming from the warehouse; It's warmed up & softened. I'm completely more than satisfied. It keeps me cool & I love the 2 Tempurpedic pillows which mold to my head & keep me cool too; a must have! I love my new mattress & pillows, thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where to start, softness, honestly with the softness level that I've noticed I would expect this mattress to be a medium firm not a soft. don't get me this is still a great mattress, just not very soft to me...and my body needs SOFT. That's the only major con for me with this mattress. It is very heavy but that's not really a con unless you have to move it solo. Now the PRO's gotta save the best for last. It does conform to your body pretty well, and it rebounds fast also. Movement really isn't felt across the mattress, I can not tell when there is movement on the other side from my side. I wouldn't be scared to try the egg test or water test on this mattress, that's how strongly I believe in this mattress in that regard. I can't do it though, a houseful of animals, so while the mattress wouldn't dump the water, the animal sure would. No waking or being awoken due to movement. I love this mattress in this regard. The mattress's design is attractive and very soft; you can sleep on it and be comfortable without sheets. In summary, this is an amazing mattress in many areas, really the other downfall for me is it's not soft enough, but my back is horribly messed up, so it may be just my opinion. Do I think it's worth the price, no not really. But if you can afford it and don't need a really soft mattress then this could be just the right mattress for you.

We noticed the difference after the first night we slept on it. I now have more energy and I feel rested. I used to wake up with neck pain and pain on my left side. On previous mattresses I woke up exhausted most mornings because I tossed and turned trying to get comfortable, my husband was also very restless due to his own pain issues. We also purchased an adjustable base with underbed lighting. This has been a life saver as my husband often gets up in the middle of the night. I would say that investing in this bed was the best decision we've ever made. We were hesitant to purchase because of the cost, but now wish we had purchased the mattress years ago. If you are hesitating - please don't wait, you'll be so glad you bought one.

I got our LuxeAdapt a few weeks ago and could not be happier with our selection! Our old mattress was 10+ years ago so it was time for an update and my goodness - it has been a dream to sleep on! The amazing design allows me to fall asleep so much faster and for longer periods too. Even with my light sleeping habits, I hardly wake up to any movements from my husband's side with their motion canceling technology. I chose the firm option and wouldn't have it any other way. It gives me the firm support I need, but still molds to my body to alleviate those pressure points. Even my husband has been raving about how refreshed he feels in the morning thanks to our new LuxeAdapt. If you're thinking about investing in a Tempur-Pedic, do it! Our old mattress was also a Tempur so you know I'm a true fan of their brand and quality products. You know when you hear about a product so many times and you think it can't possibly live up to the expectations and hype? This is how I felt about Tempur-pedic. I was hesitant but I knew it was known for being the best on the market and my husband and I were desperate to find a mattress that would help his back problems and give us better sleep. We chose the Luxe Adapt (firm) and when I say we have had the best sleep we've ever had, I am not exaggerating one bit. We sleep through the night longer and find ourselves waking up feeling more well rested. At first, the firmness was hard to get used to but it only took about 4-5 days for us to get used to it and truly appreciate it. I don't normally write reviews but it's the best mattress we've ever owned so I had to come on here and write one! Thank you Tempur-pedic for living up to the hype!

We have a split king, and these are the most comfortable mattresses we've ever owned. I fall asleep within minutes, sometimes seconds, of lying down. My wife had had neck and back pain with other mattresses for years. She finally gets relief from both with our new bed.
