I bought this set because of Henckels reputation. I am very disappointed because the knives are not self sharpening. They were dull from the onset.

Stylish set of quality forged one piece knives. Comfortable grip. Convenient self sharpening feature and they cut very well. Replacing a set of Henckel knives that I’ve had for 30 years and hope these last as long.

The block is quite long and takes up much more space than anticipated. The hand-wash recommendation severely hampers my designs for this product. The set is serviceable for the price it was acquired for.
