This is a beautiful set of knives! We have struggled with knives that stay sharp for a few months then go quickly dull. This set has built in sharpening so every time you put the knife back into its slot it is getting sharpened. They have a nice weight to them and the block is beautiful and sleek design. I haven’t had a block on my counter due to the aesthetics but this one looks modern and clean so I’m fine with it staying on the counter top.

This is the nicest knife set I've had the pleasure of using! It includes: Chef, Parer, Santoku, Bread, Serrated Utility, (6) steak knives and a pair of shears. Solid, sturdy, feels great in your hand, and cuts amazingly. They will last a lifetime. These cut easily and everything cuts like butter. They cut meat, veggies including tomatoes, and fruit. They make meal prep easy. All the knives came individually wrapped, the blade was wrapped in cardboard and the entire knife then was in a recyclable bag. Be careful getting them out these bad boys are sharp. The knife block is black with a stainless steel face on where the knives go, the steak knives portion has a black face. The block stores them all conveniently on the countertop, making it easy to grab what you want. Mines next to the stove and cutting board, ready for the next prep time. The block sharpens the chef, parer, and santoku knives as you slide them in or out. The only drawback with the block is how deep it is. It was twice as deep as my previous block and sits further out onto the countertop because of it. I would highly recommend this set.

Absolutely in love with these knives! I cut a lot of meat...and these knives cut right thu with a clean cut. The knive sharpener inside the block is super genius. I will definitely be giving this a gift.

I absolutely love my new Henckels Diamond 13 piece set that I recently received. It not only looks great it cuts great. I do a lot of cooking and this set of knives has quickly become my absolute favorite. The set looks classy and very fancy. The steak knives are restaurant quality. The best part is that the set is self sharpening so I don’t need to worry about the ser becoming dull and having to replace any time soon. I would highly recommend.

I loved the idea of having a lasting set of stainless steel knifes, but when they arrived one of them already had a rust spot on it. After using them for about a week 2 more started having the same problem. I did not put them in the dish washer, only hand wash. I had very high hopes for this brand a lot of friends recommended. But Im definitely returning them to buy something else.

After one year using the Henckels Diamond knife set: Great looks, get lots of compliments. But in reality after they are in the dishwasher get ready for rust stains, rusted handle ends. The parring knife tip broke off while carving meat around bones. Seems like a soft steel that as you cut a ten pound NY strip into half inch steaks the chefs knife starts to loose it’s sharpness halfway, stop and resharpen it or double your efforts for the other half. Would I buy them again… Nope. I would invest a little more and get a better brand, if they claim German steel why the blades are stamped Made in China? German steel, should be manufactured in Germany, Japanese knives should be made in Japan Not China. I’m sick and tired of the bait and switch game. We replaced a ten years old cheaper Martha Steward knife set and it never rusted, never stained, tips never broke off. My sister in law continues to use the Martha’s Stewards knives and she’s quite happy with my old knife set and I’m regretting that decision.

We bought these "german sainless steel" knives for Christmas because I've been wanting a new set and they are horrible. They developed rust spots, after only washing/drying by hand, within just a couple of uses. These cannot be stainless and are very disappointing. I see by reviews I'm not the only one who has experienced the problem. Unfortunately, I didn't anticipate this and discarded the box and my old knives away before trying them out, so I am afraid I'm stuck with them. Do not buy!!

I received this knife set with high hopes but was sorely disappointed upon opening. The knife block actually broke as I removed it from the bubblewrap, not rough handling it at all. The knives themselves seemed fine but upon further inspection the serrated edges on the steak knives were extremely uneven and seemingly bent in two of the knives. I will be immediately returning tomorrow, less than 24 hours after I received it. I am trying to insert photos but they won’t load.

Product received was damaged, online order. Customer service gal would not let me exchange item in house for another. She said I would have to pay in store price and could not honor online price!?. Obviously wasn’t going to keep damaged item so I returned it.

Very disappointed in these knives. I’ve had them for a few weeks. They have rusted already. They are too expensive look like this.
