I have had a Temper-pedic for over 9 years. It was time for a change. I received the ProAdapt Medium Hybrid in mid-March. It is SO COMFORTABLE....No break in at all......No more Siatic pain when I get up in the mornings. Do Not Hesitate to get one for you, you'll love it too.

This bed was super firm, and so different than what we were used to in a traditional spring mattress. I went with firm bedside reviews say after a few years they soften a bit. This is like camping in a tent the first couple weeks. I'd say it really took 3-4 weeks to get used to. When you finally do get used to it, the sleep can't be beat. I slept so sound that first good night. I was skeptical and worried until that magical night about a month in. My husband acclimated more quickly around week two or three. I don't feel him get out of bed at 5am anymore! Another magical thing, I don't know how, but his insanely loud snoring is gone, and he rarely snores anymore at all! This bed is worth every penny for that reason alone!!

We both like a firm mattress, and I especially need one because of lower back problems, but this was a new level of firm. Yet sleeping and watching TV on this mattress is as comfortable as I've been on a mattress. It's firm but not hard, if that makes sense.

I was hesitant at first when making such a big and expensive purchase on a mattress, but after talking to several friends who have had Tempur-pedic beds, I was convinced and I do not regret it one bit. However, Tempurpedic customer service urged me to keep it because they said it takes at least 30 days to mold to your body and then you will feel the full benefits of the mattress. Well, they were correct because after 30 days, it felt so amazing I didn't want to get out of bed in the morning and the aches and pains of my joints certainly went away. Soft yet supportive. The ProAdapt Hybrid Medium mattress molds to your form and somehow still provides perfect lower back and hip support. It's the perfect density and layering of memory foam for my size (150-160 pounds). This past year I've dealt with back pain after an injury and this mattress has drastically improved my sleep quality. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase.
