I purchased this generator due to recurring power outages that allowed a basement sump pump to overflow, causing loss of items and worry. I'm glad to know I can keep the pump operating if this keeps happening. It's the perfect size and easy to operate.

I opened the box, manual and instruction right on top. Read and followed the instructions to the T. Added oil and gasoline. Set gas and run to on. Set choke and it started on the first pull. Throttled down the choke and the engine ran smoothly. I plugged in a extension cord and ran a wet/dry vacuum. Worked perfectly.

I like having this portable generator in case we lose power. One of the great features is the option to use propane in case we can't get gas at the pumps with the power out. It is portable enough with the wheel kit that it can be moved if needed. Started up easy the first time I used it. Great product at a really good price.

I just bought this to have for jobsite use and for any winter storms we may have in south Texas and I have to say that the generator is not only a great value but great power and definitely gets the job done. Looking forward to buying a second one to power my house as backup.

I bought this about a month ago because I needed a generator for a bounce house and wanted something for backup power as well. It seems well designed and sturdy and has plenty of power output for my needs. It was reasonably priced so if it holds up over time it would be hard to find a better value for me.

I bought this a month ago, when our power was out for days, and so glad I did. It was easy to setup and use. It had enough plugs and power to allow us to charge cell phones and use electric heaters. Very happy with the purchase and would purchase again.

Can't say right now how the unit will hold up. It did start right up and powered items (tools) fine. My rating is really based on the warranty servcie. The unit arrived damaged (a warped brace prevented assembling the wheels). When I called, I actually had a live person answer the phone who spoke English. I called on a weekend and tech service was only availble M-F, but Monday another live person called me back, took the details. When I connected with an actual tech person, he recognized the problem (I had sent pictures) and offered choice of a replacement part or a whole new unit-( I choose the new unit, since I was afraid that the shipping damage might extend beyond the warped brace). It took him a couple of days to get approval (due to illness on part of his manager), but he came through and I recived a new unit that same week. He also sent a prepaid Fed Ex shipping label, so I just put the damaged unit into the replacment unit box, and the next day it was gone back to Westinghouse. I hope not to have to call for service again, but feel confident that if I do need them- they will be there.

WGEN 3600 arrived as expected. Directions were clear and simple. Setup and starting were a breeze. Have only tested it so far but, it handled a full size refrigerator, a mini fridge, lights and fans with ease. Only regret is I should have purchased the one with wheel kit as it is kind of awkward for one person to move without wheels. Will probably get a cheap furniture dolly to mount it on.

We had a snow storm and I was without power for 48 hours, The Westinghouse was a life saver. I had lights and enough power to keep the refrigerator and other essential appliances and electronics on. The operational instructions were easy to follow and i no time I was up and running. Great product.

I needed a basic, low cost generator for the RV I'm living in while home is being built.This WGen3600v fit the bill and had excellent reviews. I'd never operated a generator before and this one has been very easy to use. Seems fuel efficient. I love mine.
