I bought this Westinghouse WGen3600 generator as a backup for power during the last hurricane. I was very pleased with the overall build and design of the generator. It is made to last. It was able to run the refrigerator, and freezer and keep some lights on while also running the tv and our other devices charged. The setup of the generator was very easy and I was very pleased that it came with the wheels and handle set. That normally would be an additional purchase. Overall this was a great purchase for me.

5 Stars if it performs as well as it looks! Very well made and light/compact package. Everything appears as advertised, simple assembly, and very portable. Bought for emergency to power two refrigerators and freezer during extended power outage (hurricanes in Florida). Enough generator to power additional utilities as needed. Very pleased. Replaces 8000w Honda Gen. given to friends during their extended power outage.

This generator is easily the best value considering the amount of electricity produced vs cost. As soon as I received it, I added engine oil and it fired right up. I plugged in a few devices to test, all which worked perfectly. 3600 running watts/30 amp breaker is what sets this model apart from other "value" models. I will be using this at 3,800 ft, so I will be installing the high altitude jet kit whenever Westinghouse has more available (currently out of stock).

The generator arrived in good condition. Read through the instructions and had it running in no time. The oil had leaked in the plastic bag it was shipped in but contained it. Filled it with fuel and oil and gave it a couple of slow pulls to try and get some oil and fuel moving around. Turned the switch on and it started on the third pull and ran good. I ran it for about 15 minutes looking for leaks and none were noted. Next day I loaded it into my truck and drove it to my RV. Hooked it up to the RV and pulled on the cord and it broke off in my hand. The first six inches of pull cord looked like it had been burned and became very brittle thus breaking. I was peeved to say the least. I removed the recoil and was able to snake enough pull cord through and re-tie it to the handle so I could at least try and start the generator. I was able to start it but you could definitely notice the shorter pull. It ran on my RV for over an hour and provided the power I needed. I called customer service later that day (Saturday) and he was no help whatsoever. Customer service said to call back during normal hours. Why answer the phone on Sat/Sun if you cannot provide customer service?? I probably would have given it 4 stars if the pull robe had not broke and the poor customer service.

I purchased this because it was not only a great price but it had all the features I wanted. It has more operating and peak power than competitors at several hundred dollars cheaper. I take it with me while camping in my 20' travel trailer and it works very well. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for the most bang for their buck.

We were in the market for a dependable generator to use for our PA system for our sports league. The Gen3600 did not disappoint. The handle and back wheels makes it easy to transport from truck to the field. Easy to operate and set up. You will get your bang for your buck with this unit.

I bought this after looking for the specific generator I wanted for over a month. Not to big, not to small, amazing amount of power, not to loud. Has every safety feature I wanted a the price was great. Opened the box ( even though I've had generators in past) followed the easy to read step by step instructions an it fired right up. Ran at 50% load for first 5 hours as recommended an it's absolutely fantastic! Super happy with the quality an ease of operation.

Bought this Wgen3600v generator as a Christmas present for my husband and he loves it. He uses it for his camping trailer and it has a more than enough power for everything we need powered, he says it's a little on the loud side but we are happy overall with the quality and power. I would recommend this product to anyone out there looking for a reliable generator for an affordable price!

I just purchased this generator yesterday, so I haven't actually used it, but I assembled it today and it seems like it is very sturdy and well built. The User Manual is detailed and easy to understand. I like the included maintenance schedule chart. I think it is an aver all good value with the wheel kit. It is quite heavy and would be difficult to move around without the wheels and handle.

Had the generator for 1 month, and 3 power outages. We've put almost 30 hours on it. Very impressed. Starts everytime with 1 pull. A little loud, but not too bad. Make sure you get the extra generator cord with the L5-30P plug. When we first got it, only could use the 110v outlet plugs. Only complaint is the oil plug. Not very easy for changing the oil - gets all over the frame when draining.
