Package had bacon congealed in a blob so not even one full piece, just shreds... I didn't need all the grease, had to cook as is and shred onto toast. Nearest grocery store is 30 miles to get other brands because Dollar General only carries Smithfield brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bacon is great, and so easy to make in the microwave. I love not having grease splatter all over my stove. It tastes just as good as if I had pan fried raw bacon. No mess to clean up. It has a very good taste, and keeps in the fridge for a good amount of time.

We have bought the Hormel brand almost every week for years, and when I put this in my online cart to order I hadn't noticed that it was a different brand. As soon as we started eating it at home, everyone noticed the difference: thin, salty, overall very disappointing.

I rarely am ever in the mood to make my kids bacon, it takes a while and makes a huge mess. The ready to eat bacon is easy to heat, has great flavor and cooks fast enough I don’t mind making it all the time. We eat it for breakfast, on sandwich’s or burgers, crumble it and add it to salads or potatoes. It’s really versatile and a family favorite!

These are fully cooked slices of bacon. Ready to use at anytime. They are a good ingredient for many things, salads, casseroles, on sandwiches, or just on there own. No refrigeration needed until it's opened. These are 2 ounce packages with 14 to 16 bacon slices. I really enjoy this Smithfield product. It's nice to have on hand for quick fixes. My only issue is the affordability, while convenient, it's a bit pricy for what you actually get but it is delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish there was a 2.5 rating. It wasn’t poor but it wasn’t good. This is definitely not my preferred type of bacon but it is as advertised. It has bacon flavor and it does cook in the microwave. However, I don’t care for the almost rubbery consistency it comes out in the microwave. I am more of a crispy bacon person. It could be okay for some people as the taste was there, but it’s just not for me.

This is AWFUL!!! I used to love this bacon, but it has become SO THIN that you can’t even get it off the paper. It’s like parchment paper thin, which is ridiculous. I buy it for the convenience, but it is so much extra work to peel it off and piece it together after if shreds. Do better Smithfield.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smithfield Fully Cooked Bacon is great to have on hand for when you need a quick breakfast side, a sandwich or salad topping, or to add some flavor to a main course or side dish. Of course, it’s much easier than cooking up a batch of raw bacon. This is fully cooked and can be warmed in the microwave or even just used straight out of the package cold. The taste is a typical smoky flavor but I didn’t find it any more special that other ready to eat bacon brands.
