I was really looking forward to this fireplace console until I opened the box. The two front corners are broken. It's very heavy and I'm not looking forward to the hassles of a return/replacement.

The remote never worked. Had it delivered but needed help to bring it to the room opened the box and the top already had a crack in it. Randomly just turns on even with the temperature set it'll go to the highest setting sometimes doesn't even turn on when the temperature drops. Also have to unplug it just so the blower doesn't keep running

This is a beautiful piece and very easy to get it set up and running. The only thing we had to set up were the shelves as this is pretty well assemebled straight out od the box. Our 75" TV fits perfect on top of this! This fireplace has little panels that you can install in front of the glass so that you can hide the items that may be on the shelf. The flames do look very realistic and it produces there is a heater above the flame area that produces a good amount of heat. It does have a thermostat setting so that it can automatically turn on or off the heating element to adjust correctly to the temperature setting. The color of this comes off more black with a small touch of brown if it is sitting in a brightly lit room. It will look black in color if put in a room with average lighting. My reason for giving 3 stars is the flames are super dark, even when the brightest level is on. You almost have to keep all lights and TV off to really enjoy the beautiful flame show.

Bought it on black Friday on sale with free delivery, a Lovely piece of furniture, spacious and functional, made with quality materials and finish. Unfortunately mine arrived broken, however we did get to enjoy it for about 3 weeks before it got picked up for a return. They were out of stock, so no replacement was available.

I did extensive research looking for a fireplace console to go under our wall mounted TV. This comes already assembled which was a big plus. Delivery was fine and the box came with just a little damage on it but there is a lot of protective packing material. The piece is beautiful and looks a lot more expensive than it is. The fireplace works with our without heat, you can just have the flame on. Also, you can change the flame color. We left the doors with the glass inserts but you can also change them out with the provided pieces so it looks like a solid door (no glass). I was also surprised that this piece is made in conjunction with Sherwin Williams. I highly recommend this console!
