i purchased these to hang 18 x 24 canvas photos which are very light weight maybe 2 or 3 pounds. 2 of the 4 I hung up fell crashing to the ground in less than 2 hours. I am now out the $8 for the strips and need to replace one of the photos which is damaged which is another $35.00 Thanks so much 3m

Very disappointed with this product. I had bought the smaller command strips at first since the picture I was hanging was barley a pound and ended up falling a few days later scuffing my walls. I attempted a second time with the same size strips this time using double to about of hooks and making sure all my walls were wiped clean, I had thought maybe that was the reason why it hadn't worked, but it had fallen again. I had then purchased these bigger strips supposed to hold 16lbs and with in a week that same picture had fallen again. The end result I should have just put a little nail whole in the wall, my wall is now all scuffed and my picture frame is all scratched up.

I have been a lover of Command products since they came onto the market years ago. Recently, I purchased new picture strips after moving into a new house. These newest strips have been nothing but a nightmare resulting in broken wall art and tears of frustration. I prepped the walls, used the strips as recommended, and within hours to a couple of days, all of the wall art I hung began to fall off the walls. The strips failed in various ways - some came entirely off the wall, others pulled apart from itself with each adhesive side of the strip firmly attached to the wall/object, while others had the adhesive pull apart from the plastic strip. I have NEVER had this problem in the past and have always advocated for the use of Command strips. Unfortunately I will have to resume using traditional wall hanging methods. Please go back to whatever 3M used to do because I would LOVE to have my favorite product back!

As you know, us OCDers want everything in its place and neat. Therefore, if I used nails I would have to fix the holes in my walls everytime I wanted to change things around. Thank you so much Command!!!...for savind me from overworking myself. :-)

Used 4 Large sets to hang a picture frame that weighed less than a gallon of milk. Just fell off the wall this morning completely breaking the frame. Luckily none of my children were nearby. Will never use this product again. The picture had hung there with the strips for close to a year.

I was so excited to try them and see if they really held on like they said. I read the instructions and began my project. I was so happy with the results! I have used the Command products for years starting with hooks and have continued to buy additional products that I have found in a variety of stores. I carry them with me on vacation use them & remove them as needed. they are simple to use and can also be moved without leaving a hole or a mark. picture hangers are the best; makes leveling & centering easy and no holes in walls!!!! recently added clear plastic holders for small items. I have bookmarked command.com to check on new items in the future!!

When the picture hanging strips came out I used them for multiple picture galleries, and many other things. We recently bought a new home and I just hung a clock in every room using these strips, including the bathrooms. New picture galleries are next on my agenda. I look forward to new Command products coming on the market.

I bought several sets of these hook & loop strips for hanging poster frames in my son's room. They only worked for the smallest and lightest frames. (Less than 22x36 plastic) Eventhough I used mutliple sets (as recommemded) for a frame that weighed no more than 5 lbs it fell off the door after only 4 days and the frame broke. The adhesive side stayed on the door but all except one gave away from the frame. The hooks stayed together but the adhesive pulled off.

I always use the strips that are meant to hold the heaviest frame even on the lightest frame. I follow the instructions but after a few weeks the frames fall breaking not only the frame but damaging the wall and trim in the entire process. Very disappointing!
