works -- sort of

I used them to hold up a bulletin board and they worked great and held the weight as promised. However when I went to remove the bulletin board the velcro didn't release and it tore the paint and texture off the wall making repair and repaint necessary.

HORRIBLE!! BUYERS BEWARE!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I recently used these strips and they are a real piece of garbage. I hung a 5 pound picture frame using four pairs of the 16 pound strips. Within one month the picture frame fell and busted everything that was beneath it which included expensive picture frames, glass globes, etc. I would NEVER buy command strips again. It peeled the paint off my walls and chipped the sheetrock. This happens with EVERY command product I have ever used. I will never invest in their products ever again.

Easy to use, no damage to walls!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for a wall in my historic home. I was worried about damaging the surface, and to my great surprise- these did amazing! I was shocked at how easily they can be adjusted, and when I was done with my wall, they stayed put! A few months later, they're still on place!

Best Strips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I recently moved into an apartment by myself I wanted to decorate it with pictures hanging from wall to wall. Problem was the landlord asked me not to make any holes on the walls. At first I thought, maybe if I just tape the pictures to the wall it will work. Well, that didn't work. It looked sloppy and not so "homey" feeling. I figured I had to do it some other way! Thankfully for me I found these Command Hanging Strips, and they saved my life and apartment! My pictures in their frames look perfectly and I am super happy that I didn't make any holes and that I can change them to another place without any damage being done.

Not just frames!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product. I have bought dozens for different things. I hang my kids canvas pictures on the wall, of course they work perfect. I hung 3 motion sensor night lights on my wood railing (battery operated and needs to be removed when replacing) so I don’t ruin my railing. The best is a under counter CD radio, I used several to mount, it’s been up and holding for 3yrs now, plus has taken abuse. We are not easy when messing with the radio but no issues at all!!! This product is awesome, I like change, this product allows that without holes in my walls...LOVE IT!!!

Love these !

I only use command picture strips to hand all my pictures. I just love the way they hold up on my motorhome walls and if I need to move them there is no damage to the wall in fact you’d never even know the was something there. I highly recommend the command large picture hanging strips.

Built in strength and forgiveness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I built a family photo collection feature wall with more 60 photos, all shapes and sizes. It was an involved project deciding which one went where as we laid the frames out on the floor in preparation to hanging the on the wall. And even then, throughout the process last minute adjustments had to be made. Luckily, the Command Large Picture Strips were simple to use, stayed where I wanted them to stay, and were easy to remove where I changed my mind without damaging the walls. Four years and counting.... thanx!

Try em you'll like em

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I bought the picture hanging strips to hang a bunch of pictures in our camper. Because as you know the walls are not that thick in a camper. Well they worked great. You have to make sure you clean every side good it tells you that on the package. But let me tell you it is simple and they hold fantastic. What is really nice is you can adjust the picture if your wife puts it up crooked "hehe" or maybe the husband. That in itself is a great reason to buy them not a one time shot you can remove and straighten them. If you move the pictures or take them down "NO HOLE".

Used to be great...

Having lived exclusively in rentals for the past several years, I have loved used Command strips and hooks since they are easily removable when moving out. However, in the past year or so, both the picture hanging strips and hook styles I've purchased have failed. Lightweight frames and lightly utilized hooks have both fallen off walls not long after application. The adhesive is much weaker than it used to be - so much so that you could run your finger over it without much tackiness at all. It seems that many other users are having the same issue. Unless the quality improves, I won't be purchasing any more Command products.

Not my favorite

I chose this product because where I'm living at does not allow nails in the walls. We are only allowed thumb tacs. After seeing a commercial and reading a few reviews I decided to use this product to hang two different pictures. After reading AND following the instructions, I felt that I would've been better off hammering nails into the wall. Not only was it more of a pain to align the pictures to the adhesive on the wall but my pictures would only stay up for short periods of time. I came home a couple different times to my pictures not all my walls. Luckily, I hung the pictures in locations where they would only have a short drop such as above a desk or bed. It seemed that this would happen about every three weeks or so. Now that I am moving, I had to remove the frames and the adhesive attached to the walls. Most of the strips came off clean, without damaging the paint. One strip took a small piece of paint with it. But then the last strip, no matter how slow and how carefully I tried, the paint was still lifting with the adhesive strip. I am very disappointed in the overall product.
